La India Dormida is an ancient path once used by the region’s early inhabitants, now known as the Warriors of Gold. This ethnic group is the source of the legend that protects the mountain. We will hike the trail as if traversing the body of a giant: climbing from its feet to its torso, chest, and head, then descending through its hair. It’s a physical challenge where we will also connect with the mountain’s energy. Along the way, we can use the streams and pools to cool off. We will finish with a visit to “La Piedra Pintada”, which displays mysterious petroglyphs.
