Olympia Tour - We toured the Olympic village and archeological museum. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The only downside was the lack of headsets to better hear the guide. We were a fairly large group and most times unless you were right near him you couldn’t hear him. The actual archeological site was pretty spectacular.

Informative and fun Olympia - Suzie(sp?) gave a great guided tour of Olympia! Very informative with lots of humor as well. She also made sure to be aware of the needs of one of our party with mobility limitations. The beach stop was very nice as well and the guide for the bus pirtion of the tour was also informative.

Poor quality experience - tour guide was inaudible - I could hear and understand extremely little of what the guide said inside the museum. When standing next to the guide, if she turned her head away from me, I could understand only a portion of what she said. Due to the museum design (the large rooms and hard walls and surfaces), it is not conducive to hear a person standing more than a foot from you. Once outside, the tour guide's relatively thick Greek accent still made it hard to understand her. The tour guide needs to use a radio system to make the tour worthwhile. Otherwise, don't bother.

Is it really worth while to go to Olympia - Our representative Sam was very good but the guide inside the museum was ordinary. A real lesson for students in the doctorate of history not adapted to us. Keep it basic when it comes to history and tradition. A virtual tour with vidéo glasses would have been much better. Big delay cause 2 customes where missing...

Waste of money. No headsets, could not hear or understand the guide. - This tour was awful. Our tour guide at the ancient Olympia site was extremely hard to understand (very thick accent and hard time speaking English) and she was reading off a paper the whole time. She clearly was not knowledgeable of the site, and I would have learned more walking around myself and reading the signs. The worst part was that we were in a large tour group of 40+ people and we were not provided headsets! So not only could we not understand her, we could not hear her at ALL. Paired with the 100+ degree heat this made for an awful experience in a place that I was really excited to visit.
