- Olympia - Visitors can explore the site of the Ancient “Sacred Forest,” known as Ancient Olympia. Situated on the northern bank of the Alfeios River, it is one of the most significant World Heritage sites (UNESCO) and a stunning natural landscape that became the largest religious sanctuary of the Ancient World.
Like time travelers, visitors are transported to the site where the Olympic Games were held, the most important national event for Greeks, which, according to tradition and myths, began long before 776 B.C. (the official starting date) with Pelops, who won a race against King Oenomaus of Pisa. Evidence of human presence in Ancient Olympia dates back to the 4th millennium B.C., reaching its peak in the 5th century B.C., when politicians, philosophers, and artists gathered to share their ideas.
Visitors will see the Temple of Zeus, where the 12-meter-high, gold and ivory Statue of Zeus was displayed (one of the 7 Wonders of the World). They will also see the Philippeion, a unique circular structure gifted to Zeus by King Philip II of Macedon, completed by Alexander the Great. The tour includes the Ancient Olympic Stadium, the Palaestra (the athletic field for wrestlers), Hera’s Temple, Ancient Olympia’s Museum, and the Roman reconstructions that allowed the Games to continue uninterrupted until they ceased in 393 A.D. by the edict of Theodosius I, Emperor of Byzantium.

Cave Kaiadas - This was a pit or underground cavern in Sparta where state prisoners or their corpses were thrown. Visitors will experience its majestic landscape and embark on a pilgrimage.
-
Archaeological Site of Sparta - The tour includes the ancient city of Sparta, where visitors will see its Acropolis, ancient Theater, and some Roman-era houses. Ancient Sparta, built on the banks of the Eurotas River in Laconia, southeast of the Peloponnese, became a political-military force in Greece at the start of the Archaic period (800 BC to 479 BC) and declined after its victory in the Peloponnesian War over Athens and its allies, maintaining hegemony until 371 BC. That year, Sparta was defeated by the Thebans. In 362 BC, it lost its power completely with the rise of the Kingdom of Macedonia and was later conquered by the Romans.
Visitors will admire the statue of Leonidas, depicting his attire during the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC, during the second Persian invasion of Greece, following their defeat 10 years earlier at Marathon. The tour also includes the tomb of Leonidas (whose remains were transported and buried in Sparta in 430 BC, 50 years after his death), the statue of Lycurgus (the legislator of ancient Sparta who established the Spartan military education system, according to Apollo’s Oracle in Delphi), the Museum of the Olive Tree, and the Kaiada. Contrary to popular myth, official investigations since 1983 have shown that the bone findings indicate no Spartan children with birth defects were executed, but rather adult males and females (traitors, criminals, and prisoners of war).

Mycenae - Perseus established the most important and richest palace center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece, Mycenae: The Kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. The Lion Gate and Tomb, Agamemnon’s Tomb (“Treasury of Atreus” in excellent condition and the most impressive of the 9 Mycenaean tombs), and the Cyclopean Walls of the Mycenaean Acropolis are some of the monuments that captivate travelers. Mycenae’s prime began in 1600 BC and lasted until 1100 BC. The descendants of Perseus ruled for three generations. The city’s rebuilding and fortification began in 1350 BC. When Pausanias visited Ancient Sparta in the 2nd century A.D., it was already in ruins.
