Great museum! - The entire museum was fascinating! We loved it. The early RVs had interesting features especially the wood stoves. What a history of development!

Great stop! - Greeted by Connie right when the doors opened. Very friendly and informative! When I left an hour ir so later she was just as pleasant! The entire staff I encountered was welcoming. Very clean and organized. Displays well presented. Gift shop not ‘overpriced’ . I stayed in the lot through Harvest Host and comfortably was able to choose a ‘useful’ purchase without feeling ‘ I hate to spend that much’ on something I could get elsewhere more reasonably.
Being an RVr it was definitely interesting to see from 1913 to present the evolution of our joy in traveling! ‘Skip the line’ buying my ticket the Senior price was $3 less than at the museum!!

Worth it - Using skip the line saved us $18. We would have paid $75; instead, we paid $57. The museum was excellent and well worth the price of admission. The vintage RVs were fascinating, and visitors are able to go into about half of them. The section of the museum dedicated to manufactured housing is a can't miss. It provides a comprehensive look at the evolution of design of mobile homes.

Great way to spend a rainy afternoon. - I used to camp with my parents in a crank-up tent trailer, and always envied the people with the fancy RVs. It was so much fun to go through the museum and see how RVs have progressed over the years. It renewed my desire to own a camper of my own! I also enjoyed the modular home displays.

I'm Glad I Went - I was very surprised to learn how long Americans have been using RV's of all shapes and sizes. I am sad that some of the cool ancient designs no longer appear today. I had no idea how much California impacted the RV scene, but it makes a lot of sense.
The center is clean and easy to navigate. Full of RV's. I was disappointed at the quality of the lighting and how plain the information cards were on each exhibit. They need to improve their document layout skills. Enlarge the print, add some headings and bullet points. Add some pictures of people using these RV's in the day.
The introduction video in the theater is ancient and super lame.
PROS
* Easy parking
* Clean and easy to navigate
* Lots of fascinating, unique, exhibits
CONS
* Lame information cards
* Inadequate lighting
* Terrible intro video

Do not follow GPS! - If road markings were better I would give an outstanding review - GPS took me onto the toll road and back again - effort needed to get there but enjoyed the RV museum.

RV’ing oldies and goodies - Interesting to see how RV’ing all started. We love canning and cannot wait to do more once completely retired.

Final Stop on a bus tour - Learned a lot about the history of RVs. I’m not an RV person, but the museum was educational and interesting. The Hall of Fame part is a work-in-progress. If you’re an RV person you will probably enjoy it.
