- Lipton’s Seat - 07.00 AM – Our TUK TUK driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ella and take you to Lipton’s Seat.
08.30 AM – Arrive at Lipton’s Seat, a renowned viewpoint where Sir Thomas Lipton once sat to oversee his plantation, surrounded by rocky landscapes and lush tea bushes. If the weather is favorable, you will enjoy some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the hill-country, offering a bird’s eye view of the Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Eastern provinces.
10.30 AM – After soaking in the stunning views, take a walk through the beautiful tea plantation to the Dambatenne Tea Factory, the longest tea factory in Sri Lanka. Here, you can participate in a Tea Tour, where the entire tea-making process, from fermentation to grading, will be demonstrated. The experience will vary depending on how engaging the guide is.
12.00 PM – Savor your lunch at a spot with an amazing panoramic view.
01.00 PM – After lunch, return to the departure point through the tea plantation.
02.30 PM – You will be driven back to your hotel in Ella.
03.30 PM - Arrive back at your hotel.
