• Jendemsfjellet - Jendemsfjellet (633 m.a.s.l.) is almost like a huge pyramid, and from the top there is a great view over large parts of the community and beyond to the ocean. Here you can see all the way to Ona Lighthouse! The special thing about this trip is that despite the fact that it is quite short, you get a real “summit” feeling when coming up. The tour is suitable for families, and does not require any extra special hiking equipment. Good sneakers or preferably hiking boots are recommended.

Jendamsfjellet’s summit stands at 633 meters above sea level, offering a stunning 360-degree panorama of the fjords and mountains.

The initial segment of the trail leads you along the mountain’s backside, which can be quite steep in certain areas. There may also be some wet and damp sections, so sturdy hiking shoes are essential. After approximately 20 minutes, the path becomes easier, leading you through a forest for a while. Once you exit the forest, you’ll begin the steepest ascent toward the peak. Even at this stage, you’ll encounter breathtaking views that become even more spectacular at the summit.
