Great Time! - Our guide, Ana, was wonderful from start to finish. The ride up the river was awesome, our guides from the Embera tribe was great, friendly. We went dueing the dry season so we had to hike up to the waterfall, but that just made going in that much more enjoyable. Plus you get to see more of the flora as well. The Embara tribe were wonderful, the crafts they made and learning how they dye the material was just great. Food was fantastic. My only advice is to bring some extra cash because the crafts the tribe sells are awesome and it helps them maintain their culture.

Embera tribe visit well worth it - I really wanted my kids to experience seeing a native tribe of Panama. The Embera people were really kind, and the meal was absolutely delicious. We ended up doing the swim in the waterfall before we went to see the villagers, and it was a little too cold for some of the people in our group. But overall, it was really nice. It started raining so we had to cut our trip slightly short. If you’re going to buy souvenirs in Panama, I recommend doing it while visiting the ember visiting the Embera village! The rainforest was absolutely beautiful.
