Immerse yourself within a slice of Panamanian culture - We enjoyed our canoe ride down the river, the hike to the waterfalls was challenging and we loved it. The best part was the visit to the village itself. We enjoyed meeting the Embera people and their families. It was a warm welcome, we were given some historical background regarding the tribe, they showed us some of their traditional dances and even invited us to dance the rumba with them. We were very happy to be able to purchase a few items to commemorate our visit. We would love to come back and bring toys to the children the next time we visit Panama.

Nice trip/excursion - great tour. Hike to falls was nice. Not a good trip for anyone with any sort of struggles in walking and footing. Sweet families at the village. Not pushy to buy stuff. great history lessons. Great guide was assigned to us as well. Door to door travel was fantastic.

Great tour with Ana Lorena - The tour with our tour guide Ana Lorena was a great experience that we definitely didn't want to miss on our Panama tour. Booking the tour was easy, even at short notice, and communication with Ana was fantastic. She not only answered all of our questions about the Embera, but also gave us a comprehensive insight into life in Panama. We really enjoyed the boat trip across the Chagres River, the refreshing swim under the waterfall and the informative and very appreciative visit to the Embera village. Everyone was extremely nice and communicative. We felt very comfortable at all times and can recommend the tour without reservation.

The Best Panama Excursion! - This was the best tour we took while in Panama. This tour was very educational and the people of the village were so friendly. It was such a great experience with a very tasty lunch! Lastly, I can't forget our excellent tour guide Armando. I've traveled over 30+ countries and so far he's the best tour guide I've ever had!

Embera village tour - Daniel was a knowledgeable and articulate guide. He provided a brief overview of Panama’s history and the seven indigenous tribes of Panama with an in depth history of the Embera tribe. He was responsive to questions and demonstrated an authentic, genuine care about the tribe and its members. It felt as though he was a respected and welcome person at the Embera Village. And, he was funny and engaged—someone who loved what he does. The reason for only four stars is because of the issue of the preliminary walk to the waterfalls. It was at best, a challenge and at worse, dangerous. The path was narrow, slippery, with areas of large and uneven rocks. The company should make participants aware of the challenge and dangers of walking on the uneven, narrow and rocky path during the dry season when the canoe cannot get close to the waterfalls
