The Hole Escape Room presents an exceptionally immersive and state-of-the-art escape room adventure, where you experience prison time without any real-world crimes! This pulse-racing, riddle-driven game is set within the gloom of a prison cell, famously called The Hole. It promises to challenge your intellect as you cooperate to outwit The Hole and make your escape towards liberation.
THE TALE
You find yourself incarcerated, weary of your continual confinement, you are ingenious, sharp and a renowned master of jailbreaks. You have earned recognition among the correctional officers for being quite the handful to keep locked-up, having executed several escape attempts from your prison cell.
Now the Warden is fed up. The transfer documents are finalised and you are about to enter a chilling solitude; you’re entering The Hole.
The Hole is a custom-built incarceration facility, fortified with steel walls, digital door systems, and shrouded in darkness, The Hole is considered impenetrable. Once you are sealed within, escaping ceases to be a possibility.

Great fun eascape room for adults and teens - We were a group of 2 families with adults and teenagers and chose The Hole escape room, I was a bit nervous when I realised we were going to be handcuffed to the wall in the dark but I need not have worried as it was avsolutely hillarous from start to finish. Highly recommended way to spend an hour then you can take your time touring the prison afterwards.

The Hole! - What a great escape room experience. They made you feel a bit like you were an inmate and the escape room was challenging. Highly recommended.

The best time ! - What a brilliant experience from start to finish all the staff were incredible ! Funny and serious and just the right bunch you need in a place like that ! I came with my partner and friends we was away for the weekend ended it with the prison was the best experience we've done together . The escape was so much fun the officer was funny but cheeky ! Absolutely loved it you truly made my day I can't wait to return for the night stay and more newness that is coming il for sure be back ! I left with some souvenirs as always like a kid in candy shop for them . You learn so much from the tour I loved everything about it. The staff stand out massively il see you all soon .

Creepy but interesting and with the escape room good fun - Good value, very interesting if a little creepy. Hole experience was fun and gave us another story to share with friends. Easy to park opposite the entrance too.

Worth going - We had the best time, it was so interesting and there's something for all ages, the staff were really friendly and I would recommend to anyone.
We done the escape room the 'hole' and we just escaped. Was great fun and officer turner was brilliant and the whole prison and all the facts was a great day out with my family and we all really enjoyed it. We couldn't wait to tell all are family and how time was filmed there and the haunted cell I stepped straight in no fear. The shower rooms the whole place has so much history was incredible if we are ever that way again I would Def go back thank you very much

So much fun! - Escape room! Me and my partner visited the prison before and loved it, very interesting and such a weirdly wonderful place! Atmosphere is something you just cannot describe without having a wander round. Whilst doing so we saw the Escape rooms were coming soon so we went back and did "The Hole" Escape room, it was so fun! (A touch easy) but Me and my partner play LOTS of Escape room 😂 will be back to play the cell version! The "guards" were great actors and put on a great performance, thoroughly enjoyed! 👏

The hole escape room - I did the hole escape room with my 11 year old twin daughters and their friend, can honestly say it’s worth every penny great fun and the staff were amazing. Give it a go and enjoy it

The Hole - Didn’t realise I had booked the hole but it was good and it is challenging so definitely need an hour! Staff nice. My only criticism is it was £85 but you could look round prison. I guess if u haven’t looked around before it would be better value but as we had it’s quite a lot for an hour and it was just me and 3 children - perhaps children rates would be good?

Avoid. Poorly run - Dis organised and obviously cell had not been checked prior to our game. Only at the end we found out that they had ‘forgotten’ to put the torches in, no wonder we could not find them or complete the game leaving my 10 year old daughter upset. In addition to this the previous participants pillow cases which are used to cover your heads were also left behind. No apologies and after 2 e mails and a phone call still waiting over 2 weeks for the promised reply. Obviously have far too many customers to worry about poor reputation!!

Wouldn’t recommend! - The worst escape room we’ve ever been. The clues were poor & we were missing one of them. Freezing cold and no guided tour provided as arranged, we were just told to look around if we want.
