• The Opal Mine Ensenada - Situated in the same vicinity, the Tequila Museum offers an educational experience about the heritage of this unique and flavorful Mexican beverage, guiding visitors through the entire journey from the agave plant to the finished product in a bottle. The museum is child-friendly and provides an opportunity to sample six distinct types of tequila at a reduced cost (note that tequila samples are not included in the tour price). Beneath the museum, guests can explore the opal mine jewelry store, which boasts an extensive collection of opals and various other minerals.
• Bodegas de Santo Tomas - This establishment holds the distinction of being the earliest winery in Baja California. Patrons have the option to purchase a bottle of wine or try a selection of wine samples. (Please be aware that the cost of wine samples or bottles is not covered by the tour fee)
• Rivera del Pacifico - The tour features a stop at the Riviera Museum, which originally opened as a Hotel and Casino and is rumored to have been visited by the notorious gangster Al Capone. Additionally, the site is home to the Andalusian bar, where the globally acclaimed Margarita cocktail was reportedly invented in tribute to the hotel’s one-time owner, Mrs. Margarita Plant.
