Murchison Falls National Park - You will set off early after breakfast for Murchison Falls national park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just before the Murchison Falls National Park. The sanctuary was established to save Uganda’s last Rhinos. Rhinos do not roam freely in Uganda’s parks due to prolonged and uncontrolled poaching. Once their numbers increase, there is a plan to reintroduce them to Uganda’s major national parks. Rhino tracking is the main activity but you can also go on a boat ride or spot crocodiles, birds and small primates. After touring the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will have lunch at Amuka lodge before proceeding to Murchison falls national park. Chimpanzee tracking at Kibale and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Kibale National Park - You will wake up to take a quick cup of coffee, then head for the Kibale national park headquarters for adventure briefing. The briefing is basically about what you should expect during your chimpanzee tracking adventure, what to bring with you and how to behave once you spot the chimpanzee. Chimp trekking usually takes between 3 to 5 hours. It is a different experience from gorilla trekking because the chimps spend more time on top of all trees. Chimpanzee tracking is also more demanding physically. Whereas it is easy to find them, you need to move faster to keep up with them. After spending an hour with the chimps, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and rest before embarking on a 2 hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Game drive and boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel
Kazinga Channel - After resting early yesterday, you should wake looking forward to today’s interesting activities. Our diver will pick you up after breakfast for an early morning game drive. If you love birds, you will be amazed by the sheer abundance of different species. If birding is not your thing, you can just spend time lazing around the beach as you watch the local people row their boats or catch fish. You will then be offered a certificate of participation before being driven back to the lodge for lunch and rest. After resting and checking out, you should prepare late afternoon journey to the Volcanoes National park in Rwanda.

Do not make sudden movements and only take photos when you are cleared to do so. After gorilla tracking in Rwanda, you will head back to the starting point where you will find our Guide waiting to take you back to the lodge for lunch and rest. Later in the afternoon, the Guide will take you to visit the Gorilla Guardians Village. This center showcases the cultural heritage of the Banyarwanda. Kigali Genocide Memorial - Wake up early and take breakfast before going for another briefing for golden monkey tracking. Golden monkeys are very cute primates but endangered. They are very playful and move in large troops. Gold coats make them very distinct from all other primates in the park. As you track them, expect to spot the other primates along the trails. Afterwards, our guide will take you back to the hotel for checkout before starting the journey to Kigali. The drive will take you across the equator, where the Rift Valley’s most famous lake, Lake Nakuru, lies south of Bogoria. Lake Nakuru is known all over the world for its flamingoes. It is alkaline and recognized as one of the world’s natural wonders. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harbouring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. But the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, almost 2 million flamingos may be in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore.
You will arrive in time for lunch, then have an afternoon game drive.
Later, transfer to Masai Mara.
Masai Mara Game Drive
Maasai Mara National Reserve - You will have an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is one of the few places on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. You will arrive in time for lunch and then have an afternoon game drive.
Second Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive, with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, and it is not impossible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these, 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four bustards (including the kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and nine species of sunbirds.
Masai Cultural Experience and Transfer to Seregenti
Masai Mara National Reserve - On this day, you will transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park (through the Isebania border). A community tour with the Masai people is scheduled for today. The transfer to Serengeti takes almost the whole day. Still, you will also be doing a game drive during a significant part of the journey (in the morning in Masai Mara and in the afternoon in the Serengeti).
You will enjoy the afternoon game drive en route to your tented camp.
Serengenti National Park
Serengeti National Park - The famous Serengeti National Park is home to the great migration. The game drive is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim. Continuing, spreading out in front of you is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili. This 18,000sq km (6,900sq mi) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys and nearly 500 species of birds inhabit the area. You have the opportunity to visit Oldupai Gorge and enjoy a hot air balloon ride.
After breakfast the following day, you will have a full day in Serengeti National Park (morning and afternoon game drives).
Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Very early in the morning, you will descend to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater. You will then transfer to Manyara for your overnight stay. You can also visit Tarangire instead of Manyara, and we recommend Tarangire from June to September.
There is the possibility of visiting Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village on the way to Manyara/Tarangire.
Lake Manyara National Park and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - You will depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. This enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is also renowned for its stunning bird variety. The park is also home to a large number of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. This park has become famous for the tree-climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains on the horizon. Later, depart for Tarangire National Park.
Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tarangire. Tanzania is the third-largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting park feature, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to 6,000 elephants. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch.
