Bucket list done - The trek was easy and we saw a gorilla family of 6 which was amazing. They were within 2 to 3 metres from us. Our driver Edgar from eco safaris is brilliant- super knowledgeable and super helpful

A+, 10/10 service and experience - Abdul was an absolutely incredible guide. He was: 1) knowledgeable about the landscapes and animals; 2) a competent and safe driver (this may seem superficial but anyone who has been to East Africa can appreciate how important this is); and 3) a nice guy not only to my friend and me, but to everyone. The last point may be lost on some people but everywhere we went Abdul was respected and liked. Meaning - my friend with whom I traveled with and I were respected and liked. This is very important when you’re so far from home! Our trip was fun and peaceful. The itinerary required a lot of driving but it was well worth it. There were literally zero hiccups along the way. Every aspect of trip was meticulously planned. I credit Abdul and his team for this. I don’t rate often unless it’s for exceptionally good or bad service/experience. This was an A+, 10/10 experience and we received A+, 10/10 service. The entire time with Abdul, from the morning he picked us up in Rwanda (on time), drove us into Uganda, seeing the chimps, then gorillas, until the time he dropped us back off at the airport (on time) was exceptional. Amazing guide, amazing experience. I can’t recommend Abdul and this trip enough. Thank you for making our time in Rwanda and Uganda special - can’t wait to one day do it again. I recommend Abdul and this experience in the strongest way possible.

A country rich in culture, warmth, biodiversity, kindness and very professional guides. - I actually did a five day tour to incorporate trekking with the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park as well as trekking with the gorillas in Bwindi National Park. After arriving late at night into Entebbe I was greeted at the airport and taken to the very comfortable and welcoming 2 Friends Beach Hotel. Early the following morning, the most accomodating guide, Apolo, collected me and off we went on a road trip traversing the real country Uganda, across the equator and through little villages and towns and the ever changing terrain until after several hours we arrived at the most charming Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. The one transcending observation throughout this whole sojourn was the overriding genuine kindness and welcome received not only from Apolo but from everyone I encountered including all the staff at the lodge. The room was spacious and comfortable with a feeling of being protected yet in the midst of this evocative forest redolent with the sounds of the plethora of species housed therein. The following day I was taken for the trek through the jungle which was a revelation in itself but the ultimate experience was the hour spent within the gorilla family who went about their daily activities accepting us in their midst and clearly unperturbed. Just bewitching. After a lunch break and freshen up, the afternoon was spent meeting the Pygmy community and learning about their culture and trajectory. This was captivating and the amble through the community village and seeing the school and observing their lifestyle was also a fascinating and humbling experience. Then another day on the road travelling north to Kibale Forest National Park, home to chimpanzees. Here I spent two days amongst the trees in the enchanting Turaco Treetops Lodge where again the staff were so pleased to help. The following morning was another supremely organised jaunt into the forest where we were again transfixed by the displays and vocalisations of the troop of chimps of varying ages. The guide and rangers were so professional and able and generous with their boundless knowledge and experience. Again a refreshing lunch break at the lodge following which I was taken on a nature walk to spot birds and monkeys and learn more about the behaviours and adaptations of these native inhabitants. I was treated to more village life concentrating on the local crafts such as coffee production, dyeing and weaving and banana distillation providing a popular local drink. The colourful , exuberant and enticing dancing by the beautiful African ladies makes one feel special and embraced! Sadly the following day was again across country to complete an essentially circular trip back to Entebbe airport. Apolo was a great driver and during our many hours together I was to see and learn so much about this resplendent country. I would highly recommend this tour and especially this guide, Apolo, to anyone visiting Uganda. You will see and learn so much.

Perfect - Eco Adventure Safaris planned my short stay in Uganda in an excellent way. Michelle was always quick in answering, giving good planning inputs. Edgar, my driver was very professional, had a safe way of driving and at the same time fast. He knows a lot about his country and long drives from point to point went quicker in his company. I would always recommend Eco Adventure Safaris :)

Gorilla trekking with family - From the time that Godfrey (our guide) picked us up from the airport our trip was amazing! He was full of information and a great driver. He coached us through border crossings, shared insights and made us feel safe. Our lodging was pristine, the food was fabulous and the Gorilla tour was absolutely thrilling. Best vacation ever!

Amazing Conservation and Gorilla experience! - This was a world class experience. My second time to Africa however the first time to Uganda. We were greeted promptly at the airport by Godfrey and he took amazing care of us. We met some colleagues from the DRC and they were also pampered and welcomed. The lodging was outstanding, and the gorilla trekking was life changing. The conservation aspect was so valued, they truly understand the impact on the world of the rainforest and the Gorillas. Brian was amazing on the trek and kept an eye on everyone in our party and provided tons of history and information about the Gorillas.

Excellent company. PAtrick a great value in the company. - Excellent company that responds quickly and efficiently to any unexpected. Of the best the great work that PAtrick does since you contact them. Always willing to help and report any questions you may have, I would always want him on my team. We did the trek with them to see the gorillas and it was a success. Driver Abdul did very well. The hotel they provided was a great success. I would repeat in the future with them without hesitation.

Gorilla trek - Amazing! - We reached out to Eco Adventures to arrange a very last minute gorilla trek ---only days from when we wanted to travel. Not only were they able to accommodate our request, immediately making arrangements, but also put together a fabulous itinerary for us with excellent accommodations and a great trek. Both Patrick, who arranged the trip, and Emma, our guide, were so wonderful to work with. Emma was so knowledgeable about the gorillas and the area. He was able to answer our many, many questions. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Eco Adventures.
