Fort portal visit - Emmanuel was prompt, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He took us too and from Chimp trekking and around the Crater Lake areas. He was great organising onward transport and making sure we were collected at the other end of the bus journey. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends.

Rwenzori 7 days + Murchison Falls Safari - We booked our 7 days trek and Murchison Falls Safari with Trek Rwenzori Tours and we could not have better service and experience. We originally booked our tour with another agency that cancelled us 2 days before our trip. Fortunately we could find Emmnauel (Trek Rwenzori Tours) that quickly organised everything for us, matching the same price and even including more activities. For the Murshison Falls Safari (3 days all included), we got picked up from Kampala and visited the Rhino Sanctuary on the first day, on the second we had 2 game safari around Murchison Falls where we had the chance to see nearly every animal living there (Giraffes, Elephants, Buffalo, Impalas, Hienas, Leopards, etc). We also did a boat safari to the falls where we could see even more animals (different birds, herds of elephants, hipos, crocodiles, etc). In the 3rd day we were driven to the start of our trek in the Rwenzori Mountains. Emmanuel drive us to the start of the trek the day before (including this extra night accommodation) and picked us once we finished. Everything was really well organised (equipment, guides, porters, food, etc) and we had an an unforgettable experience. Submitting Margarita Peak was more challenging that I thought (I'd grade it AD- or PD+) but with the help of your guides and some basic mountaineering techniques should not be too difficult. I'll recommend Emmanuel and Trek Rwenzori Tours to every friend asking me about tips for Uganda. He will take care of every detail and always making sure you are having the best experience.

Tracking Rwenzori + Safari Murchison Falls - The track in Rwenzori mountains was great, I was doing 6 days to reach Mt. Baker and I made as a beginner in climbing. They borrowed me everything - sleeping bag, cap, rope, there were potter to take my stuff, chief and very professional climbers. The only thing is, that they forgot to take me gloves, but in the end I didn't need them. == GREAT 5/5 Also make Murchison safari with them. It was also great, we've seen Rhino sanctuary also and seen elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and another animals. We haven't seen lions. So I think we could stay longer in the park, until 18, but we left already at 17:15. But we were also quite tired already, that's true. == Very good 4/5 And both trips were very cheap, that's also a plus!

Hiking in lower rwenzori range - Emmanuel met me at my guesthouse/camp in fort portal to give me information about all the hikes available in the area. I ended up doing a hike in the lower ranges with a group I was able to join. I even forgot my hat an hour way and he was kind enough to bring it for me the next day. Overall I found him to be very helpful and recommend him to other hikers.

The best time - On our way to QENP we were forced to take a night over in Fort Portal. Who would have guessed that we would stay over there for 3 nights! Looking for an activity, we came out with Emma and that turned out in an unforgettable time. We asked him if we could do a self drive motor tour. Which was no problem and the next morning he pulled some motors from some guys out of the area and off we went! Johnson was his trainee and joined us for the day as well. After our good time and day-evaluation in the local pub, he even invited us to the birthday of his daughter. If you are looking for some off the beaten track adventure and in a surprisingly beautiful area, don't think twice. Emma is your guy.

7 days trek in Rwenzori Mountains - This experience was amazing. The staff and the entire team was so nice and welcoming. No complain about the organization at all. Everything was well planned. To reach the submit can be difficult for non experience people but the staff does everything for you to give you the best chances. I strongly recommend this trek for adventurers !

Chimpanzee and bigodi sanctuary - I had a perfect day with this agency . Went in the morning in kibale NP to track the chimpanzees and after went to the bigodi santuary. They organized everything for me the day before, that was really nice and the price was also good. Thank you a lot emmanuel for everything.

Misleading Information, Uncomfortable Experience - Unfortunately my experience was not as good as others, I'm not sure why "Emma" (Emmanuel) did not provide me with the same quality experience as others. I was working in Uganda for a small NGO and wanted to visit Rwenzori Park for a day hike on a weekend day. Unfortunately the service Emma and Trek Rwenzori provided was pointless and upsetting: -Car broke down 3 times. This is not unusual for Uganda so that didn't surprise me so much until the third time, at night, in the dark, on the way home, because we ran out of fuel. This felt extremely irresponsible. The car was broken down on pickup in the morning which made us more than one hour late, and resulted in the hike being extremely rushed and the park ranger being annoyed. This was not pleasant. On the way home, in the dark, on a terrible road, as a woman traveling solo with these guys who clearly ripped me off, I was terrified and just praying I made it home safe. -Emmanuel did NOT accompany me on the hike. I asked him specifically if he would, and he said yes, but then at the last second, after taking a bunch of photos acting like he was coming along, and despite him wearing a big hat and muck boots, he said "goodbye!" and left me to go with just the ranger and one of his "interns." The intern was VERY nice, and very sweet, but he was learning himself and understandably not able to contribute knowledge. -In the village he kept asking me for money for things for him and his staff- I bought them all lunch, snacks, water, etc in addition to my own. Now don't get me wrong- I would normally be MORE THAN HAPPY to do this BUT there was absolutely no reason for them to be there. I didn't need three guys to drive me to the park in a broken vehicle, make me buy them lunch, and leave me with the park ranger. I should have just taken my own personal driver and been done with it. When I asked Emma about this he just smirked and repeatedly insisted "that is how we do it here." Unfortunately, he is correct. In Uganda, if you end up in the wrong hands, you will be taken advantage of as I was. I am just thankful I made it home safe. I did enjoy the hike itself with the Park Service ranger but I will leave that review with the park service. Trek Rwenzori Tours overcharged me, used me, and made me feel very unsafe. I hope they learn better business practices. paying for him and other staff people
