Amazing trip filled with lovely surprises - This is potentially the best decision we’ve made. The tour was incredible and filled with lovely surprises along the way. The gorillas were an obvious highlight but the whole trip was filled with great activities. We were so impressed with Dav Safari and in particular with our guide Chris who made the whole trip special. He was so accommodating and kind, had answers to all our questions and overall just a brilliant guide and driver. We were very impressed.

Highlight of my trip to Africa - The three day gorilla trek was easily the high point of my three week trip to Africa, which included climbing Kilimanjaro and a safari in Tanzania. Uganda is such a beautiful country, and my group encountered a family of 12 gorillas after trekking for less than 30 minutes. I recommend that anyone who wants to go to East Africa chooses Uganda.

Amazing experience to see the beauty of Uganda - We have spent amazing 5 days with Dav Safari in Uganda and Rwanda as a group of travellers. Amazing nature, beautiful national parks with once in lifetime encounters with chimpanzees, golden monkeys and gorillas. Very thoughtful and careful drivers, assisting with any request for help. Special thanks to Chris who was absolutely brilliant in showing us all the highlights and sharing about his country, definitely recommend to anyone visiting those countries to use their services.

5-day trip in Uganda - We had a wonderful 5-day trip in Uganda. Thank you Adison for the great tour guide during the trip, and a special thank you for the gorilla viewing in Mgahinga. Fabulous! - Seeing the gorillas at Bwindi Forest was a once in a lifetime experience, it felt unreal. Chris from Dav Safaris was fabulous and went above and beyond, for example helping us find hiking clothes and shoes when our luggage didn’t arrive! The accommodation at the lake was so beautiful and a perfect end to the trip.

A cozy, professional and accommodating experience to be repeated! - From the moment we met Benjamim (Benji), he became more than just a driver—he quickly felt like a friend. Despite maintaining professionalism throughout, Benji created a warm, familiar atmosphere for me and my aunt. His driving skills were exceptional, always going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and remain flexible with our requests. The vehicle was in excellent condition, and Benji was instrumental in helping us navigate border crossings to Rwanda efficiently.
This company’s experience was evident in the quality of their staff, who responded promptly and thoroughly to all our inquiries before, during, and after the trip. Benji, in particular, enriched our experience with his broad knowledge, offering insights into everything from biology and zoology to the politics and culture of the region. His conversations were always engaging and educational.
If we return to East Africa, Dav Safaris will be our first choice without hesitation. We are already recommending them widely. Thank you, Benji, for making our trip so memorable!

10/10 recommend!!! - This trip was absolutely incredible!! We had Charles as our driver and he was the best. He gave us a lot of knowledge about the area and the trek we were about to do. He was also very patient with us. But I think what stood out to us the most was when Charles was on his way at to pick us up, we realized that it was going to rain really bad where we were going to trek. Almost to the point where we didn’t know if we should go anymore. But when Charles picked us up, before we even said anything, Charles advised us of the rain, and he said they already made arrangements to change our trek to a different one where there will be no rain. He did all of that without us saying anything and before he even picked us up. It was incredible customer service. To make sure we had the best time possible. 10/10, definitely book with this trek and ask for Charles.

Uganda truly is the Pearl of Africa - To say we fell in love with Uganda is an understatement, and a lot of that has to do with Dav Safaris. Benjamin, our guide, was amazing. He picked us up at the airport in Entebbe at almost 04:30 and we were off on our almost 7 hour drive to prepare for our Safari.
During our trip we had a cultural experience in a local village where we learned how Coffee is harvested and prepared from beans to grounds the traditional way. We also met with a medicine man who explained the traditional elixirs he can produce and what they are used for.
The second day was our chimpanzee trek, and the entire experience was amazing. We were lucky enough that the chimps were on the ground and not just in the trees, and at a couple times the chimps walked within 3m of my wife!
Day three was the gorilla trek, and while we were warned it could be harder than the chimpanzee trek, we were fortunate again and the trackers were able to find them in only about 90 minutes. We spent our hour with the gorilla family, and watched as the baby and two juveniles wrestled and played. The silverback kept watchful eye the entire time and the other gorillas came and went.
We ended our tour by being dropped at a game lodge in the Queen Elizabeth National Park rather than being taken back to the airport, but usually full transportation to and from the airport is included.
If you have the chance, sign up for these tours, you will not regret it.
