Next, we’ll visit the Igongo Cultural Center, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and have a chance to rest and explore the local culture.
Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve - Continuing our adventure, we’ll pass through the cool, fresh air of Bushenyi, taking in the stunning views of lush tea plantations sprawled across the rolling hills of Igara and Ishaka. As we drive through the serene Kalinzu Forest Reserve, keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of wildlife and natural beauty.
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Finally, we’ll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we’ll check into Buffalo Safari Lodge. Here, you’ll have time to unwind and relax before heading out for an exhilarating evening game drive. This scenic drive offers opportunities to spot diverse wildlife and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Continue your drive to Bwindi, where you’ll arrive at the heart of the endangered mountain gorillas’ habitat, After arriving at your lodge, take some time to relax and unwind. Enjoy a leisurely evening and a delicious dinner. Get a good night’s rest and prepare for the exciting gorilla hike scheduled for the following morning.
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer To ⇨ Lake Bunyonyi
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters by 7:00 am. There, you’ll meet your gorilla trekking guide and join other gorilla trekking guests for a detailed briefing about the forest, including the dos and don’ts. Your guide will then lead you to the starting point of your trek. Depending on the location of the gorillas, the hike can range from one to five hours. Be sure to bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, and walking sticks if needed. During the trek, you might see various forest birds and small primates like Black and White colobus monkeys and blue monkeys.
Lake Bunyonyi - After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its breathtaking beauty. Upon arrival and check-in at your lodge, enjoy an evening boat ride on the lake. The lake, with its 29 small islands, offers amazing views and has a rich history, After the boat ride, return to the lodge to relax and have a delightful dinner while overlooking the stunning views of Lake Bunyonyi
Transfer To ⇨ Lake Mburo National Park For an Game Drive and Boat Ride
Lake Mburo National Park - Start your day early with a delicious breakfast. After checking out of your lodge, our guide will take you on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You’ll be treated to incredible wildlife sightings, including zebras, giraffes, impalas, kobs, and antelopes. Bird watchers will be delighted by species such as the great snipe, African finfoot, and saddle-billed stork.
Lake Mburo National Park - Upon arrival at your lodge, unwind and enjoy a leisurely lunch. After your meal and some relaxation, our guide will take you on a short drive to the lake where you will board a boat for a two-hour cruise. During the boat ride on Lake Mburo, you’ll have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and various water birds, including the African fish eagle and the rare African finfoot. You’ll also spot buffaloes and antelopes along the shores.
After your boat cruise, you’ll return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Entebbe - On the last day of your 7-Day safari, your schedule is flexible. After an early breakfast, if you have an early flight, we will drive you straight to Entebbe International Airport to ensure you arrive on time. If your flight is later in the evening, we can arrange additional activities along the way. Alternatively, if you prefer to be dropped off at any hotel or accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe, just let us know. Your safari guide will accommodate your preferences to make your departure as smooth as possible.
