THE TRIP RELATE TALES OF CANNIBALISM IN THE NOT SO DISTANT PAST , THE PRIMITIVE BUT EFFECTIVE SPEARS AND OTHER METHODS & TECHNIQUES FOR TRAPPING WILD LIFE’S INCLUDING PIGS, CHICKEN AND FISH . IF IT IS SUSPECTED THAT SOME FISH MAYBE POISONOUS, NI VANUATU WILL DEMONSTRATE A SAMPLE ON THE GROUND; IF ANTS AVOID IT, IT’S POISON HOWEVER IF ANTS EAT IT SO DO THE PEOPLE.
- Blue Lagoon - You will get to spend one hour at this particular spot to enjoy swimming in one of the best swimming holes on the island of Efate.
- Sara Beach - We will get to spend 1 hour break at the Sara Beach restaurant for some lunch. Enjoy the local cuisine prepared with passion and traditional cooking methods.
- Nasinu Hot Springs - The Nasinu hot springs and mud bath is a natural healing gift from nature. A mixture of sulfur and salt water that can soothe body aches, arthritis, muscle pain, skin conditions and has many more health benefits. It is preferable to bring short pants and swim wears for this particular stop.
- Mele Maat - We will make a brief stop for some photo opportunities at the great lookout situated on top of Klems Hill
- Tanna Coffee - We take a stop at the Tanna Coffee Factory where you will get to see one of our main agricultural exports and also get a taste of some fresh local coffee.
- The Kava House - Every great day spent on the island ends with a bowl of kava. You will get to understand the significance of Kava in our society and it’s current relevance in terms of business opportunities for the locals and how it drives the grassroot economy.

Great day out - We had a great day out with Moses our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, was very aware of those of us with mobility issues and took us to places that benefited the local communities. The transport was comfortable and air-conditioned which was appreciated as the day was very warm. We didn't feel rushed at all.

The day tour was inclusive of the Blue Lagoon and lunch, the Hot springs, a coffee house, a kava house, a cultural dance - We enjoyed the interactions and tour description of both the tour guide Vincent and the driver Moses. Both were funny and informative. The tour itself was great because it gave us a little taste of many things to discover in Vanuatu.

Tour was 100% worth the money - Cultural tour in the beginning was fantastic, the blue lagoon was beautiful and clear, tour guide was very nice. Highly recommend

Genuine Efate - Genuine Efate. You get to see more of the island and it's lesser visited attractions. Pepeyo village was very informative and entertaining, and you get to learn about culture and music and medicine. The hot springs and mud bath was earthy and the lady just covers you in mud and then cleans you off. Good coffee stop and good kava stop. The kava stop seems like where the locals go to consume kava, it was extremely strong stuff.
Our guide Moses was super friendly and chill. Yumi tours is owned by a man named Phillip who personally oversees and accommodates changes to schedule. The Pepeyo village was initially cancelled on the day we went due to a village event, so Phillip took us there personally 2 days later. The restaurant we went to for lunch was closed due to stormy weather, so Phillip and his wife brought their own group lunch to share with us.
With Yumi tours you get a very personal experience with local people and an exceptionally kind staff.

Fun, well-planned island tour - It was a jampacked schedule, but the pacing was fine including the breaks. Even the rain and slight drizzle during the lunch break added to the ambience and island vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed the activities especially with the fun group. You get to tour and sample the whole island in one day - starting with a local tribe visit, including mudbath, blue lagoon swim, sampling coffee and even kava! Highly recommended tour!

Excellent day - Excellent day, despite the rain, to go around the island and have a nice overview of all that can be done there (Blue Lagoon, hot springs, swimming in turquoise waters ..). Thanks to Julien for all his explanations about life and culture in Etafe!

Unforgettable, must do Vanuatu experience - Highly recommend Yumi Tours if you want to experience the best of what Efate Island has to offer. We had Moses as our driver and tour guide for the day, he was a very professional and friendly guide to have. His insights and knowledge about the island and culture were engaging and interesting. Highlights of the tour for us included a mud bath and hot springs, swim at the blue lagoon, pepeyo cultural and educational tour and Tanno Coffee factory tour. Bottom line, if you are staying in Port Villa for your next holiday, please do yourself a favour and book a day tour with Yumi Tours, you won't regret it!

Great first time visitors tour. - Wonderful daytour. Pickup at hotel in the morning, tour of the most part of the island, with multiple interesting stops.

Great full day tour at a good pace - Excellent tour, with my favourite being the local village visit! Everyone was very friendly and great hosts. It was a shame that the Blue Lagoon ws on low tide when we came around, but still great with time to soak in. Mud bath was interesting, and the lunch spot was amazing!

Best way to see the island in one day - Best way to see the whole island and get in a few great locations.
Cultural experience was interesting however the staggered approach of different groups arriving and departing we missed one part of the show the dancing.
Blue lagoon 5 stars was amazing and lunch was great. However serving local cuisine would be an extra highlight rather than rissoles and sausages, fresh local grown fruit would be amazing also.
Hot springs was not my fav part of the tour.
Local beach was amazing more time at this location would have been amazing.
Coffee farm was nice, staff there were very passionate about their craft.
Kava tasting was interesting wasn’t as scary as I thought had no major side effects just numb lips for a bit. Try it at least once!
