Take a guided exploration of the Herculaneum dig site with a local archaeology expert. Herculaneum is a town that, much like its better-known counterpart Pompeii, was wiped out during the 79 AD eruption of Vesuvius. This 2-hour tour also features a trip to a small museum positioned just outside of the dig site. Tours can be arranged in English, Italian, or Spanish and operate daily.
