Take a guided exploration of the Herculaneum dig site with a local archaeology expert. Herculaneum is a town that, much like its better-known counterpart Pompeii, was wiped out during the 79 AD eruption of Vesuvius. This 2-hour tour also features a trip to a small museum positioned just outside of the dig site. Tours can be arranged in English, Italian, or Spanish and operate daily. The rendezvous point with your guide will be straight outside the Herculaneum ticket booth.

Herculaneum Private Tour with Anita - Anita was our guide and she was excellent. Patient, informative and courteous. Definitely recommended. Our driver was Mirco and a perfect complement to Anita.

Pompeii and Campi Flegrei and Royal Palace of Caserta with Alfredo - We spent three days with Alfredo at the Campi Flegrei, Pompeii and finally the palace of Caserta. Alfredo was a wonderful guide the best we could have had. Ours was a multilingual group and Alfredo was able to manage them in three languages without any errors or problems. Definitely the best guide this agency could offer us. Preparation, kindness, class and style at the highest level.

Wonderful experience. Top notch guide and driver - Driver to Herculaneum was Mirco. Clean, beautiful car, super skilled driver, excellent English and wonderful sense of humor. He taught us so much about Naples and the surrounding area.
Our guide at Herculaneum was Gabriella. She was outstanding. An archaeologist and tour guide, She was an absolute fountain of knowledge. We could have spent all day with her.
Herculaneum is so well preserved and much less crowded. Highly recommend!
