Great and Knowledgeable tour of Vesuvius. - Amazing tour of Vesuvius with Mario. Such a nice guy and really knowledgeable. The driver was also really polite and drove very carefully. Family of 4, we had such a great time. This was such a stress free and enjoyable way of visiting one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Thank you again.

Super trip with Supermario - Great trip led by Mario our Guide. He tells you all about Mount Vesuvius, past and present volcano. But he also knows a lot about the other volcanoes around Naples. Nice trip, not too heavy and really worth it

Gorgeous views - a little pricey - Vesuvius was pretty epic. Entry was easy with the tickets purchased. "Skip the line" isn't really skip the line - we just went in the regular queue. Tickets were sold out for the date/time we wanted on the Vesuvius website, so having these available was great - the pitfall is that they cost double what the regular entrance fee to Vesuvius is. These are entry tickets only and do not include a tour guide (which is what we wanted).

Volcanic visit - The most memorable part of hiking up mount vesuvius was the incredible views of the surrounding area. We had some difficulty getting our tickets so i would highly recommend that they be downloaded to your phone before getting to the entrance gate. Fortunately a police officer helped us to contact viator via the phone and they sent the tickets immediately!!

Vesuvius is awesome.... - Vesuvius is awesome. But… tickets costs 12 € I paid 23 € because it says skip the line. There is no skip the line option at Vesuvio Mount. Basically it’s a cheating. Don’t pay more if you expect to skip the line.

Disappointed - Missed due to bad weather (not being allowed in). Arrived later than allocated time as we had 100 mins allowed after allocated time. Unfortunately, we did not know we would be stopped going up for 45 minutes due to rain, therefore our tickets were expired. I wish this was communicated in description.

Expired Pass - My friend and I were planning to visit Mount Vesuvius before going to Pompeii. We had some unexpected difficulty procuring our rental car in Naples. Unfortunately, these passes were considered expired and we were unable to cross the checkpoint. One of the guards cleared me, but another guard would not clear my friend. These tickets ended up being a complete waste of time and money. If you're uncertain of the exact time when you will be at Vesuvius, I would recommend just getting a ticket there. We went during the height of tourist season in August and the line was only 10 people long.
