“The trip is very complete with several stops to take photos, the landscapes change throughout the trip. Everything is very well organized, luckily we had a small group of eight people. Nothing is expensive. Our driver Mehdi was very nice, friendly and spoke Spanish and French in addition to Arabic and English. He was very flexible and told us many anecdotes about the local culture. Night Under the Stars: Day Two

The next morning, rise early to witness a sunrise that paints the desert in hues of pink and orange. After a hearty breakfast, the journey back to Erfoud begins, but not before a few more adventures. The Erg Chebbi Desert Night offers a chance to experience the desert in a different light. Starting at 5:00 PM, this excursion takes you on a camel trek to a comfort camp nestled in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Sandboarding and sunset views are just the beginning of an unforgettable night.

“A great desert experience - There are many similar trips heading into the desert from Erfoud and I am not exactly sure which one we went on. It was one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. The one hour camel ride into the desert was a unique experience, made a bit more atmospheric by the fact that there was a minor sand storm blowing as we rode. The meal was tasty and well served. The vegetarian meals requested by some of our party were all organised and also tasty. The drumming and dance session in the desert after the meal was a great evening’s entertainment. Unfortunately a low cloud obscured the evening stars but we were all up in the morning to see the sunrise.
