Worth doing - Good way to learn about Syros, past and present - such as the history of this El Greco painting. Dimitrios himself has an interesting history. Ermoupoulis is a handsome, bustling town. Would love to return.

A most interesting summary of Ermoupolis - A most informative and interesting tour of some of the most notable buildings of Syros. Our guide, Dimitri, was very knowledgeable and pleasant with ready answers to any questions we had. We were lucky that it was just two of us in the group on the day so it was almost a private tour. Gained a lot of information not only about the buildings and architecture but also about the history and aspects of Syrian life.

First time in Ermoupolis. - Dimitros led my wife, a friend and me on a most informative tour of Ermoupolis. He is a very engaging guide with a wealth of knowledge of the history, culture, customs and architecture of Syros, which he shared with us. In spite of starting at 12 noon, the tour maximises time indoors and in shade. Dimitros set a very amenable pace which suited our small but enthusiastic group. We have no hesitation recommending this tour to you. It provides great orientation to the first time visitor to Ermoupolis, like us, as well as an overview of the history of the island and its biggest town/city. The route of the tour provides the photographer with many opportunities to capture those memories of your time here.

City tour of Ermoupoli - My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves on this tour. A small group which is nice. Dimitri was very informative, even knowing the "spots" for an instagram photo, which my daughter took advantage of! Very warm day, but in and out of buildings helped and the water provided during the tour. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to have a better understanding of Ermoupoli, Syros.

A nice little tour - I was drawn to this tour because there are no other Ermoupolis tour options that I could find and because it was cheaper than walking tours of some other cities (only €20/person). Dimitris was very friendly and passionate about his city. He also was very flexible with the timing since the our ferry's schedule wouldn't allow us to make the regular tour time. He was waiting with two large water bottles (which was great since it was scorching that day) and we were the only couple on the tour. In hindsight, I would have preferred to spend the 2 hours in Paralia Asteria considering the weather and that it was the only day I had on the island. However, I do feel that I got my money's worth from the tour.

Nice tour with very small group - A very small group of the two of us and one other couple, which was great. A nice little tour of two hours and didn’t need to be any longer than that. Dmitri was friendly and knowledgeable and easy to understand. We enjoyed it.

Interesting, but expensive. - The walk is interesting. Dimitris is a very kind, cultured and educated person. We were not able to visit the Theater because it was being used for a University graduation ceremony. The price seemed a bit expensive to us; If it had been a free walking tour we would have given 20 euros in total, but 20 per person for two hours of walking and conversation is a bit expensive. In any case, there are no other options that we have found.
