Upon arrival at the dive center in Tabaiba in the morning, you will be equipped with new gear, including a wetsuit, mask, fins, and dive tank.

For this diving adventure, a minimum of Open Water certification is required, though Advanced certification is preferred. Expect to encounter abundant marine life as well.

Just a few meters from the dive center lies the wreck of “El Peñón,” a tugboat intentionally sunk in 2006 to form an artificial reef. Situated at a depth of approximately 30 meters (100 feet), the wreck provides a captivating glimpse into maritime history.
