  • Plaza Mayor de Cuenca - Surrounded by a variety of colorful buildings, predominantly from the 16th century, including the baroque front of the City Hall and the immense Convent of Las Petras.
  • Plaza de la Merced - A charming square featuring three baroque exteriors: a Seminary, a church, and a convent with a cloister.
  • Torre Mangana - A stunning 16th-century tower adorned with two timepieces at its peak, offering unmatched panoramic views of the city.
  • Los Rascacielos de Cuenca Barrio San Martin - We will explore both the inside and outside of what were the tallest residential structures in Europe during the 16th century.
  • Convento de San Pablo - Now a Parador, its location is strikingly perched on the brink of a precipice.
  • Puente de San Pablo (Saint Paul Bridge) - A metal bridge from 1903 that took the place of an earlier stone bridge, remnants of which are still visible.
  • Casas Colgadas - Aristocratic 14th-century residences clinging to the Hoz del Río Huécar, featuring their remarkable wooden balconies.
  • Escultura de Alfonso VIII - A bronze tribute to the long-reigning King of Castile, celebrated for his pivotal victory at the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, which altered the course of Spanish history.
  • Catedral De Cuenca - The kingdom’s earliest cathedral to be constructed in the Gothic style (simultaneously with Ávila’s), and one of the nation’s most expansive, reflecting the city’s substantial affluence until the 16th century. Its facade is in the neogothic style and remains incomplete.

Pablo, the guide, managed to combine amenity and exhaustive information - A very enjoyable visit, guided by Pablo, who provided us with a lot of information about Cuenca without sparing irony about the history and clichés of the city.

CUENCA, ENCHANTED VISITS!!!! - I recommend these guided tours 100%. My husband and I have been on our own for a few days and we had a wonderful time. It is a charming city. It was a huge influence that the stay was even higher than our expectations, thanks to HUGO and PABLO. With their knowledge, professionalism and attitude, they made CUENCA surprise and delight us. With HUGO we carried out two guided tours. One monumental daytime and one nighttime. We loved it, Hugo was very didactic and documented, and with his spark of humor, he made us take away a very pleasant concept of Cuenca. Also acquire knowledge of it. Regarding Pablo, I would say that he is equally charming. He is a person who likes the work he does. He transmits a very positive energy with his joy and makes you want the guided tour not to end. With him we visited the Enchanted City, Laguna de Uña, source of the Cuervo River. Thanking both HUGO and PABLO made us see Cuenca in another way, from another perspective.

More than recommended experience - A wonderful experience that Hugo offers us as guide during the visit to the monumental Cuenca. Very, very recommended. I can't think of a better way to learn about the history of the city and its monuments. The guided tour of the Cathedral, also by Hugo, is not only highly recommended, but essential.
