Wonderful and so meaningful! - Sarka from Personal Prague Guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and so considerate of our whole group from the US. We were a family of 6 traveling with our 88 year old mother and Sarka made sure the trip was tailored to our needs. We have Czech ancestors and she made it possible to go to the town were my husbands grandmother was born and we had a ceremony of gratitude for our ancestors. We loved the beautiful town of Cesky Krumlov but highly recommend using Personal Prague Guide for to experience this magical place!

Beautiful and Interesting - We had an advantage over the group tours because we had a private guide. She could not take us through the palace but the tour was interesting, fun and informative. Ironic how many in the tour had eyes glued to their cell phones!! We enjoyed the opportunity to see rooms with period furniture. We discovered this was rare during our Eastern Europe jaunt. The rest of the town is easy to access with breathtaking views at many turns. We also enjoyed seeing the countryside between Prague and Cesky Krumlov.

Worth the day trip - Honza Pavelka was our driver and tour guide. The drive is about 2 1/2 hours each way from Pargue. During the drive, Honza provided information about Cesky Krumlov, as well as general Czech history and culture. Once there, he knew exactly where to go to maximize our time. We did both the general castle and the Baroque Theater tours and would recommend both. We found the theater in particular to be amazing. Honza also lead us through the town. His knowledge is excellent, as is his English, plus he knows the best places to eat. We would recommend this trip and would strongly recommend using Honza and Personal Prague Guide.
