apek once praised its tower as the pinnacle of architectural beauty. Visitors can marvel at the world’s oldest operational Baroque theatre, a lavishly adorned carriage, and an exquisite ballroom within its walls.

The castle’s interior is inaccessible on Mondays and throughout the winter season; however, the castle museum remains open for exploration (the castle courtyards are always available).

• Church of St. Vitus -

The Church of St. Vitus acts as a majestic complement to the castle. Erected in 1309 and having undergone multiple renovations, it has also functioned as the final resting place for the nobility of Krumlov.

Initially two distinct settlements from the 13th century, Latran at the base of the castle and Krumlov along the river’s interior bend, were unified into a single town. The ancient cityscape has preserved its historical essence, featuring the splendid Old Town Square with its ornate townhouses and the plague column. Visitors can traverse the bridge and meander through the winding cobblestone lanes lined with charming medieval buildings.

Following a 2.5-hour voyage from Prague, our guide will rendezvous with you to showcase the highlights of this antiquated city on a private promenade peppered with numerous opportunities for snapshots. This will be accompanied by a common castle tour (in winter the castle’s inner sections are off-limits, instead, we provide a visit to the castle museum and ascent to the castle tower’s peak).
