Arrival and First Impressions

As soon as we landed at Amílcar Cabral International Airport, the warm breeze of Sal Island embraced us, whispering promises of relaxation and adventure. Our guide, a friendly local with a welcoming smile, greeted us with a sign bearing our names. The private transfer to our accommodation in Santa Maria was seamless, and as we drove through the island, I couldn’t help but feel the stress of everyday life melting away.
