Camel excursion - We contracted the camel excursion with Abdelaziz. 100% recommended experience both for the route that we will find difficult to forget and for the companion who has given us a lesson in the history of the area through which we passed and a photographic report worthy of a professional.

Nice camel trip - A beautiful walk on the beach at sunset. Hassan takes really great photos. The camels were very nice and comfortable to ride. Everything was perfectly organized and prepared. I recommend it for an evening in Essaouira.

Ocean, camels and sunset - worth it!!! - A very interesting experience :). We were picked up on time from the riad, the camels (very well cared for) were waiting there. We drove along the sea, reaching the ruins of the Sultan's palace and the café where Jim Hendrix was said to have visited. We drank traditional tea and our guardian Hassan gave us sesame cookies that he had brought with him - it was very nice. The return journey was magical, the sun was setting, the sea was roaring and our guide Hassan was running around us to take the best photos possible. He tried very hard. The camels were also very friendly, you could pet them and feed them. Really worth!!!

Slightly disappointing camel ride - We chose the 2-hour camel ride, the ride on the beach is pleasant. However, some negative points should be noted: - one of the saddles was not comfortable (no footrest) - the snack sold as “tea + Moroccan pastries” by the director of the association was rather an industrial dry cake with Moroccan mint tea. - the guide was very friendly but did not speak French very well so we had some difficulty understanding the guided tour In summary, the 2 hour walk is a bit long, if you choose to do this activity, I recommend the 1 hour walk.
