Excellent succulent experience - Excellent authentic experience. We did the shopping then cooked 2 kinds of Tajines. The welcome was great with tea and cupcakes. Khadija's family is very welcoming and friendly.

A fantastic cooking course - Many thanks to Khadija and Hussein for hosting a wonderful evening. Starting with shopping at the local market for ingredients, then welcoming us into their home with mint tea. Khadija was a wonderful teacher, demonstrating how to make a lamb tagine, zalook and a Moroccan salad. We learnt not only about the food but about day to day life including their generosity to their local community. Would highly recommend their cooking course!

A cooking class where you feel like you are visiting family - I’ve known Khadija and Hussein since 2017 when my mom and I took our first cooking class with them in Essaouira. I’m so glad that we were able to visit and do another cooking class. It’s always like coming to visit our family at home. This trip we made a delicious seafood pastilla and Zaaluk an amazing eggplant and tomato dish. I finally got to make Harissa and being able to learn from Khadija is always something I cherish. Khadija and Hussein always make you feel at home and should definitely be your first choice for a local home cooking class. You will get to experience what it feels like to be welcomed into a Moroccan family’s home and kitchen. Thank you Khadija and Hussein you all are amazing and look forward to seeing you all again. Traditional, cozy and delicious food - It was a very moving experience. We were picked up by Hussein and went to do some shopping. We were then welcomed with delicious traditional tea. The son was a bit shy at first, but then he stole the show. Khadija and Hussein are very friendly and enjoy inviting all kinds of people into their home. It was super fun to see how they lived. We had fun cooking and had a delicious meal. If I have anything to comment on, it's that you don't cook a lot, you mainly help. But all in all, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a traditional experience in someone's home.

The best ❤️ - It was one of the best experiences we had in Morocco so far. The whole family is so loving and welcoming and we really felt like home. The food was the best and even the minttea was the best we had in Morocco. We spent almost 4 hours at their beautiful home and learned so much. We would totally come back. Thank you for everything ❤️

An enrichment for every Morocco holiday - This cooking course is highly recommended. The hosts are super warm and hospitable. After being picked up at the meeting point, we went to the family's home and got to know each other a little as a group. After deciding what we wanted to cook together, we went shopping with Hussein. He explained a few things about the spices here and there. Back home, we sat together with tea and pastries before we started cooking with Khadija. Here, too, we were given a lot of explanations and had a lot of fun. The food was the best we ate during our trip through Morocco. An absolutely successful evening.

A happy evening with a charming family - Hossein and Khadija were warm and welcoming hosts. First we shopped with Hossien in his local neighbourhood, then returned to thei home for mint tea and pastries. But the fun started when we gathered in the kitchen to help cook. Khadija is a wonderful chef and her knowledge of spicing is excellent. We all helped and learned how to make, flatten and fold msemen bread. Delicious. The two taglines we made; lamb and chicken were simple the tastiest we have ever had. A really happy evening with a charming family.

Such a kind and wonderful family, and absolutely amazing food! - I genuinely do not have enough nice things to say about this family. They are some of the most incredibly kind and lovely people I have ever met and made this into the most wonderful experience. Hussein met us by the pharmacy and took us around all the shops to buy the ingredients and also helped us to buy any spices of our own should we want them. He even ran off to get me and my partner water when we mentioned that we were thirsty. Then we went to their beautiful home, and met their entire family all of whom were incredibly sweet and friendly. They put out a whole spread for us and made us fresh mint tea, whilst Hussein chatted to us about his life, our life and a whole host of interesting stories which really made you feel really at home. Then we began the cooking lesson with Khadija who was as knowledgeable and helpful as she was incredibly kind and friendly. She took us through the whole cooking process for 2 mains, two different side dishes and we even made the bread from scratch which was so much fun. During breaks whilst we waited for things to cook, we sat round and (badly haha) played musical instruments with Hussein, Khadija and their children. The whole time they went the extra mile to make you feel completely at home. I feel like I learned so much from the cooking lesson, and will definitely be trying to recreate these dishes at home. And at the end of it all, the food was simply the best I have ever had in Morocco, it was just stunning. Khadija is one good chef! Cannot recommend this experience and this lovely family enough. An absolute must do!!
