TRIP TO MARRAKECH WITH FRIENDS - We friends have been taking one trip a year for years. Our dream was Marrakech for 2023, the earthquake came and we were considering changing the destination, in the end we weighed it and went. We went with CAMEL SAFARIES, Incredibly good, they treated us like queens, Ali was attentive to us at all times, the Riads we stayed in were great, the local guides were wonderful, the drivers were very good, the The transportation they took us to was also very good and comfortable. In general, a trip of 10. I recommend this agency for the good treatment and professionalism. Thank you ALI for everything. I hope to return to other destinations in MOROCCO

Enjoyable, straightforward day trip - Driver, Said, picked us up promptly from our hotel in the Marrakech medina. Efficient and friendly drive to Eaaaouira with rest stop along the way. Local guide, Hassan, took over at the destination. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly as well. The town is an interesting contrast to the inland and desert locales. Be prepared for stops at a couple of shops but the guides nor shop personnel are pushy at all. Actually we’re enjoyable elements of the tour.

Incredible day trip from Marrakech - Ali was an excellent driver and guide. He provided several interesting stops and information. He also taught us about other parts of Morocco and made us look very forward to another adventure in this amazing country. Everything was exceptional.

An amazing day trip - I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about Morocco and more specifically Essaouira! The day started off with our driver (Mohamed) picking us up outside our hotel at 8am. The drive to Essaouira is about 2.5 hours from marrakech however during the journey there will be a couple stops. One of the stops was at an Argon farm where they produce 100% pure argon oil along with many other products. We were event invited to try out grinding the argon seeds ourselves. Upon reaching Essaouira we met up with our local tour guide (Hassan). He grew up in this beautiful coastal city and was very knowledgable about the history of the city (I may add that his English was very good as well). He showed us around the harbour, fishing markets, old forts and the medina . While walking around we stopped off at a couple shops such as wood working shops and silver shops. There was no hidden agenda trying to get us to buy items (however I did splurge a bit of cash haha). Following the tour Hassan recommended some good restaurants and we went to one called Restaurant II Mare which was a rooftop restaurant overlooking the seafront. The fish was excellent! Lastly we met back up with our driver, Mohamed, and he took us to the beach to go camel riding. Our camel guide was a pretty good photographer as well and gave us some good instagram photos 😆 All in all it was a fantastic day full of experience. Quick side note, be prepared for a lot of walking and don’t entertain anyone unless the guides are introducing you to them! The guides are very honest people and are trying to help you avoid any scammers.

Great Excursion Day to Essaouira - Beautiful Coast and Historical City - We had a professional, timely and entertaining driver that met us at our riad in Marrakech. He was very accommodating and answered all our questions, thoughtfully. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for the route from Marrakech. Our local guide was very knowledgeable, providing details on the history and was so passionate about Moroccan culture and history. Incredibly, interesting stories. The women's Argan Oil cooperative was educational and great fun. We were lucky to see the goats in the Argan trees as can be hit or miss! The old Medina, seaport area, dining on fresh seafood and beach area was excellent.

Well Organized Day Trip - A 3 hour drive from Marrakech, Essaouira was well worth the visit. The goats in the Argan trees while traveling was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The city is beautiful as well as the beach area. We had a great meal of fish at the port before returning back to Marrakech.

Beautiful seaside town - The day trip to Essaouira was AMAZING! The seaside town itself is incredibly beautiful and a nice break from the desert atmosphere of Marrakech. The driver took us to some touristy spots (goats in argan trees), and of course we loved that, and our guide in town was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant - Our driver (Hussein I believe, apologies hopeless with names) was absolutely amazing. Safe driver, knowledgeable along travel to destination was very considerate.Guide on arrival was brilliant loved the entire experience could easily spend a couple of days there. Lunch venue (chosen by Viator) was delicious and in a great location.

Excellent day with terrific guides! - After a week exploring Marrakech we were ready to venture further afield and a day trip to Essaouira was ideal. Mustapha was great company for the day and took excellent care of us picking us up from our riad in the morning. The local guide Abdullah provided great insights and a few laughs. We found an excellent spot for lunch by the water before Mustapha returned us to our riad at the end of the day. Essaouira is a working fishing village and the bustle of the waterfront is contrasted with the relative quiet in the small Medina (at least compared to Marrakech). It was wonderful to be by the ocean and to visit this interesting village. Mohammed and his team are just terrific and were personally recommended to us- I can do the same for you. These guys are great!
