HIGHLY recommended to get to central London from the airport - All great, super punctual for both pickup and arrival. Very friendly staff. The seats have USB to charge the phones. And you can take the carry-on with you.

Terrible customer service - My coach to the airport at 5.15AM was cancelled with no warning. Arrived at the stop. Told there’s another service going to the airport, but I’ll have to buy a new ticket. After waiting for two weeks for a response, they’ve denied my refund for the first ticket. Even though they cancelled it. Without telling me. Phone line is a joke as well - it’s not for complaints, almost like they knew they’d be inundated with them!

National express diabolical service - Absolute shambles of a company. Do not use them from stansted airport to kings cross unless you want to be on the coach for 4 hrs instead of 1hr 35min booked trip. The driver had a hissy fit at Liverpool st and wanted me to get off the coach. I paid to go to kings cross and refused.
I chose the coach as I have disabilities and suffer from anxiety and cannot travel on the underground or buses because of big crowds. I was wearing a lanyard that he should of recognised according to their own rules and driver training, he did not.
Who on earth would even think of leaving a person with disabilities in the middle of London, my onward journey was booked to travel to the Kent coast. I had a panic attack and he still refused to carry on driving and just left me. He actually rang his company and said he was so stressed with the driving and he needed his hour break, he had reached his target on hours driving but forgot to mention that he still had a customer on board.
The service is diabolical and the worst experience of my life and I am aged over 60 with limited ability in walking hence using National Express.
Why not tell passengers when they boarded he had no intention of taking them where they paid to go. He needs sacking

Expired ticket issuance - On July 3rd, while checking in for my London-Milan flight, I opted to include the National Express coach service from Paddington Station to Stansted Airport through the Ryanair website.
An hour later, I received a ticket via email (attached), which showed the date as June 25th. This meant I received an expired ticket, making it impossible for me to use the coach service. Additionally, the ticket date corresponded to my arrival flight, which makes no sense since I purchased the ticket on the day of my return flight.
I contacted National Express by phone, thinking this would be an easy issue to resolve, but was informed that the correct information should have been sent by Ryanair. Subsequently, I contacted Ryanair, who told me the date was correct, and then National Express again, and so on. Both companies kept passing the responsibility to each other. Additionally, I could not access or manage the ticket on the National Express website as the code was not recognized. Consequently, I was unable to take the bus and had to opt for an alternative route, resulting in an express train that cost me more than twice as much.
After reaching out again via email, I received a clumsy response stating that I could not get a refund for expired tickets. It's disappointing and disrespectful (and non sense) that the company fails to acknowledge they sent me a ticket for a date 8 days prior.

No Customer Service - Our first bus went off-route and got delayed, causing us to miss our next bus (which we had bought tickets for). We had to wait 1.5 hours in the middle of the night for the next bus, and the new bus driver who let us on was very rude. Couldn't get a refund.

Never Again. Stressful experience - I booked a ticket with National Express to stanstead airport as it was cheaper than train. Big mistake. Flight was at 7. Bus was due to leave at 3. Didn’t leave till 3.50. Huge crowd at bus stop. All the buses were extremely late. Staff on the ground were rude and indifferent. I asked one staff member a question. He didn’t even look at me, just grunted ‘I haven’t a clue’ Bus was stuck in traffic for ages and I didn’t get to the airport till 5.40. Between this and the queues at the airport. I very nearly missed my flight. Unacceptable service. Train is more expensive but much better

Avoid them and go by train because you will be late, they lie about the time you arrive! - I didn't get on the bus because I was told that the bus can't arrive in an hour, but in 3 hours and that it never arrives on time because it's always crowded in traffic and that no one will be responsible for the delay! They sell tickets and write that the bus arrives in 1 hour and 10 minutes, but the bus does not arrive at that time! They play with people who have a flight and need to be on time! They sell tickets and do not indicate the possibility of a delay of up to 2 hours so that people buy tickets, and then take a risk and their money is not refunded! It's pure theft! The girl who checks the tickets is extremely rude and unprofessional! Don't fall for it and go by train - it's 5/7£ more expensive, but you'll arrive on time for sure and no one will lie to you or steal your money!

I booked an RyanAir-flight and accepted the offer of the bustransfer to the airport. I did not received the busticket on time, so had to buy a second more expensive ticket.
RyanAir did not want to help me and after a week they told me I had to contact National Express. National Express did not want to help me either because they needed the request within 24h. I wonder if I get my money back. This feels like I've been stolen and from RyanAir I can expect terrible service, but I did not expect National Express to be worse.
I demand £11 and a compensation for the more expensive ticket of £7,50. Besides that this matter cost me a lot of time.
