A tour through Esslingen, where you will get to know the fountains in the Esslingen city area through a local. You will find out your history and background. On the way from fountain to fountain, you will also learn about Esslingen’s other sights and legends. Afterwards there will be a picnic with sparkling wine, juice and regional specialties and locally grown products. The specialties include, for example, “Herrgottsbscheißerle”, which is the Swabian expression for Maultaschen, a dumpling filled with spinach and sausage meat. The sparkling wine comes from the oldest sparkling wine cellar in Germany, which is located in Esslingen, namely the Kessler sparkling wine cellar. If the weather is bad, the picnic will take place at bar tables and, if necessary, sheltered from the rain
