Batik is a resist painting technique that involves drawing designs with melted wax and then dyeing the fabric with vibrant colors. In this introductory class, you’ll learn basic techniques and effects while using traditional tools of this unique art form. You’ll get to take your finished tapestry home at the end of the class.

All materials and tools are provided. Participants must be 12 years or older. Please pre-book this class so we can prepare materials (the wax can take an hour to melt).
