Holy cow! This one checks all the boxes for adults and teens. - 2nd time to do this tour. It did not disappoint. 1st - It was me and 3 teenage boys. We booked the Wednesday evening tour, an WE were the only ones. “Sid” was our driver/guide. It was his birthday and with the small booking the tour could have been cancelled. Sid said the show must go on, and the boys were excited to have the truck for themselves. Despite the small group and the teenagers being drawn to the 4x4 and roller coaster feature of the tour, Sid was amazing at engaging them and giving them details about the national forest, the fascinating giant organism of the Aspen stand. He added his personal experiences and stories from this incredible company. His skill and ability to handle the vehicle was incredible. When we got to the top, he worked hard to continue to give our group a great experience. Of course the descent was crazy fun, and the boys had a raucous and exciting ride down. Sid capped off the night with his impression of Elmer Fudd singing Bruce Springsteen, a riot, and then a scenic route around town and back to the shop. Highly recommend this tour and this company. Customer service and dedication to providing a great experience is unmatched.

Memories For a Lifetime - Let’s start with WOWZER! Then Epic! And above all the staff, their safety, knowledge, and fun! The office staff was above kind and splendid with their attentions. We choose the Not so Mellow Marshmallow tour. It was a fantastic surprise for all of us. Though the website offers a description, it does not compare to the experience offered. Upon arrival we were amicably greeted by the staff. Asked for our preferred beverage (mind you we were the only ones in the tour- family of three). It was our own “private tour” since there were no others joining us. This tour is a night ride thrills and fun for all. Our child is 8 and they enjoyed all of it, from start to finish. Let’s just say when it was over, we were bummed. It is a bumpy ride once in the forest, but that is what you sign up for. The good thing I noticed since were the only ones on the truck, I was able to sit in all three rows in different parts of the tour. The front row feels like any other car going over continuous bumps, the second row a tad more bumpy, the last row, third, was by far the bumpiest and obviously the most fun! Dan our tour guide, impressive, friendly, fun, super considerate, conscientious of all of us the surroundings and of course safety. Not only it’s an adventurous experience, but educational as well. Dan had so much knowledge of the Forrest, flora and fauna, oh and of his equipment like the truck Lucy we were on. Oh did I mention they also provide FroggToggs for inclement weather conditions. He went over all the safety on different sections of the tour, to ensure all were safe during that part. Dan also took his time to educate us on the history of the forest and the animals that live in it. Something our child enjoyed and took in. Dan also had some cool dad jokes. Once we reached the top of the area where the s'more's were going to take place, we were in awe of the peace and breathtaking views. Great hotdogs and s’mores. Snacks and drinks also provided. What a night to remember! We are so grateful they offer this experience for families to enjoy and bond and create memories for a lifetime. Thank you Dan, Courtney, and the two rockstar guys in the office. Absolutely amazing!

Just do it! - This was a very unique experience. Would definitely return to do another trip with Wildside. The experience was 4 hours long and combined a slow, rocky climb up a mountain with thrilling high speed “roller-coaster” sections. There was a stop on private land at the top at a viewing tower for pictures, a camp fire with hot dogs & s’mores. Our driver, Josh, was GREAT! When I was trying to explain this to my kids when I got home, best I could do is say it was like a real life ride on Dinosaur or Indiana Jones at Disney.
