• Jogyesa Temple - The Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is a significant landmark of Korean Buddhism, originally established in 1935. Situated in downtown Seoul, it is adorned by an ancient white pine tree. There are a few key steps to entering the temple.

First, visitors must pass through “Iljum”, the one pillar gate. The “Iljumun” represents the boundary between the world of the living and the sacred Buddha realm. Visitors will have a beautiful spiritual experience and can admire the magnificent, golden statues.

• Gyeongbokgung Palace - Please note that Gyeongbok Palace is closed on Tuesdays, so it will be substituted with the charming Changdeok Palace.

Gyeongbok Palace was the primary residence of the Joseon Dynasty, built in 1395. This is a breathtaking structure with 7,700 rooms! The palace has endured several damages over the years, making it even more fascinating to visit today!

It was first destroyed during the Imjin War between 1592 and 1598. Later, Imperial Japan demolished a significant portion of Gyeongbokgung Palace in the 20th century. However, the palace has been restored multiple times and is now nearly restored to its former glory!

Visitors can stroll through its magnificent grounds and imagine life as royalty. The exact route depends on the knowledgeable tour guide. Highlights include Gangnyeongjeon, the king’s main quarters, Geunjeongjeon where the king received formal visits, Gyeonghoeru – the special banquet hall, and more!

• National Folk Museum of Korea - Please note that the National Folk Museum is closed on Tuesdays, so it will be substituted with the charming Bukchon Hanok Village.

The National Palace Museum of Korea was initially founded as the “Korean Imperial Museum” in 1908; however, it has been renamed and relocated several times throughout its history.

Today, the museum houses approximately 45,000 artifacts and royal treasures from Joseon Dynasty palaces and the Korean Empire. Additionally, 14 of South Korea’s National Treasures can be found here.

With 500 years of history on display, visitors can gain a genuine sense of the past and discover what life was like for a Joseon King and Queen.

• 청하고려인삼 - Ginseng Museum & Shopping Center
• Insadong - Art enthusiasts will fall in love with the Insadong Arts and Crafts Market, where most items are hand-crafted! Visitors can stroll down a long street filled with various stalls and shops.

Feel free to wander off the main street and explore the alleys, which feature charming ceramics shops and additional food vendors. Visitors will enjoy interacting with the lovely locals who are incredibly friendly and helpful!

• N Seoul Tower - * N Seoul Tower (Including round trip cable car)

With its slender base and pointed top, Seoul (Namsan) Tower is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Standing at 236 meters high, the tower is the second-highest point in Seoul. On a clear day, it offers some of the most breathtaking views of Seoul city.

The structure also serves as a communication hub, maintaining Seoul’s radio and TV stations through the signal waves it transmits.

The tower features a main lobby, plaza, and observatory for exploration. The Love Padlocks is a quirky highlight. Located on the second floor’s terrace, it is a trendy spot for people to hang padlocks with their names as a symbol of their love.

• Namdaemun Market - Namdaemun Market is one of the oldest and largest markets in South Korea. Situated in the heart of Seoul, the market is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse range of goods. From traditional Korean crafts and clothing to the latest electronics and fashion, Namdaemun offers something for everyone. The market is a must-visit for those seeking to experience the true essence of Korean culture and shop for unique items. With its blend of history and modernity, Namdaemun is a lively and exciting place to explore.

In addition to its merchandise, Namdaemun is also famous for its delicious street food. The market hosts numerous small stalls and vendors offering snacks and meals, including Korean dumplings (mandu), noodles (kalguksu), Japchae Hotteok (crispy doughnuts with a noodle and vegetable filling), and sweet treats like honeycomb candy. Visitors can enjoy sampling these local delicacies while shopping and exploring.
