Capture memories of being in the lap of the world’s tallest peak, then return to Gorakshep. Enjoy the sunset from the base camp. Meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay in Gorakshep.

Day 11: Trek to Kala Patthar (5,545 m/18,193 f) 2-3 hours walk and to Pheriche (4,280 m/14,042 f) 5-6 six hours walk

Ideal for photographers, enjoy views of Mount Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse Peaks, Khumbu Glacier, and Everest’s Southeast face. Capture memories, then trek down to Gorakshep for lunch before heading to Pheriche.

Descend gradually from Gorakshep, through rocky terrain, exiting Everest’s vicinity at Dughla, and walking to Pheriche. Trek through a damp valley floor, alpine to sub-alpine vegetation. Meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay in Pheriche.

Water-driven prayer wheels, Himalayan viewpoints, rare wild animals, and stone steps lead to Namche Bazaar. Explore the busy streets of this ancient trade point and tourist hub. Meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Most amazing trip! - I hosted a trip with this company and brought along a group of 12 people, some family, friends and strangers. With that many people not knowing eachother I was very nervous about the trip but it went so smoothly. Transportation, accommodations, food etc was all setup for us and everything ran without a hitch! We were so lucky to have our guide Nirmal! He was so kind, helpful, funny and became a great friend! He made sure everyone was comfortable the entire time and was helpful when people got sick in higher elevation. Nirmal absolutely made the trip 100x better and miss him so much. All of our porters and assistant guides were lovely and we had a fantastic yoga instructor, Onil on our trip as well! Highly reccomend booking this trip! And make sure to ask for Nirmal as your guide!

WE MADE IT! - This was a once in a lifetime trip for me and my daughter. Dipak took care of all of our needs in Katmandu. Accommodations were great. We all wanted an extra day of touring, so Dipak made it happen. Nirmal gave us all the information we needed to prepare for the Trek. Once on the Trek, Nirmal was the best guide, teacher, coach, inspirational leader we could have asked for. We also had am assistant guide as our group of 14 was large. Romjin was fantastic too. Our Yoga instructor Onil was very dedicated and patient with us newbies. The Yoga was a tremendous help for all of us. It really eliminated the soreness and helped with our breathing and endurance. It made the entire experience even more spiritual. Everyone was so kind and giving. I highly recommend this trip, and you must ask for Nirmal as your guide.

Stop looking for other company and book this one!!! Simply the best! - This trip was an unforgettable experience for me. Anish, my guide exceed my expectations. This young man (22y) has a very good knowledge of the western culture and will make everything to insure that your trek is going smoothly. His English is perfect and has a good sens of humor. He also helped me to exchange with locals (speak to my porter and give gift to local kids). I could not have hoped for a better guide. This trek was a thrilling sporting and human journey. Beautiful landscapes, Nepal and Nepalese will mark your minds beyond your expectations. I am deeply attached to this country. When I left Lukla, I shed a few tears. I am also grateful to Anil, my yoga teacher, for helping me practice morning sessions during the first few days of the trek. The trek is quite demanding physically and it is cold. Do not neglect the difficulty. Last but not least I want to thank the entire Dipak team; Dikshya, Diken, Avi and the driver for replying to all my questions ans ensuring my comfort in Kathmandu. 🙏🙏🙏 I’ll come back 💕

Unforgettable experience with amazing people - We had an amazing experience with Dipak and Trekking Planner. He received us at the airport at 3 am and always made sure to maintain contact with us before and during the trip. He was always easily reachable and very helpful. We travelled to EBC to celebrate our honeymoon and when we reached the highest elevation on the trek, Dipak made sure that we would receive a little cake congratulating us for the wedding and the trek - it was a very sweet gesture. Furthermore, when we could not fly through Kathmandu to Lukla because of the weather he made sure to bring us with the car to another airport and we managed to fly after one day of delay. Therefore, if you can manage to have some extra days to be prepared for any unforeseen changes such as the ones related to flights I would hardly suggest. Another detail for those who are willing to book the yoga trek as did we is also to keep in mind that you might not always be able to practice yoga during the trek because of high altitude or just because sometimes the tea houses do not have a place indoors for practice. Maybe we would have chosen to have the regular trek and not the yoga one. In resume, terrific experience coordinated by Dipak, this super organized and hard-working man that makes sure you are listened and safe.

Best Trek with Nirmal - I did the yoga trek to Everest base camp and it was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Nirmal was my guide and hands down amazing. He was very funny, knowledgeable and in-tune with the group. I don’t think my trek would have been as perfect without him. 100% recommend going with trekking planner and requesting Nirmal for your guide.

Great Views, Great Guides - My 2 friends and I were in the wonderful hands of our guides Anil and Pemba during our trek. While the trekking was tough at times, it took us through such beautiful areas. The tea houses we were booked in were nice tea houses and the food was good. I was a bit on the slow side and Pemba usually stayed back with me to make sure I was doing alright, which was nice, it made me feel like if something had gone wrong, I would have had someone to help me. The mountains all around us were some of the most amazing things I had ever seen. They make the Rockies seem small. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to see the Himalayas. When we got to Base Camp, I took some pictures, but then just sat there for a while looking at Everest and all the other huge mountains around me. I'm glad I took the time to just take it in. In the evenings at the tea houses we had UNO parties happening. We taught our two guides, plus a guide from a different group, how to play UNO and it became such a fun thing to do. They got way into it, which made us all get way into it. After we got back to Kathmandu, it was discovered during Covid testing to return home, that I had caught Covid on the trail. Dipak helped me take care of communication with the hotel and checked in on me every day until I was able to return home. Knowing I had Dipak keeping an eye on me made both me and my family back home feel better about the situation. Thanks for an awesome trip!
