Wonderful tour- highly recommend - Our tour with Josh was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the eco system and the history of the area. We came away with a real appreciation of the beauty, history and peacefulness of the Everglades. Our favorite parts were the dolphins and the boat ride itself. The dolphins just seemed to love Josh and his boat and gave us quite a show playing in the wake. We also enjoyed seeing some birds and a quick glimpse of a sea turtle. and the stop at Pavillion Key. The Everglades are so beautiful and this is a perfect way to experience it.

An excellent trip out to the 1000 Islands, recommended for wildlife enthusiasts - We booked direct with the owner of the business ( Josh) and his communication with us prior to the trip was excellent and I would recommend you do likewise. The maximum capacity of his boat is 6 but if 4 book on together, as we did, he tends to close the slot meaning it becomes a 'private tour'. Josh may not be the cheapest in the Everglades City area but I think he he is probably one of the best - and certainly the best of the many guides I have been out with over the years. He has a wealth of local knowledge backed up by a passion for wildlife and a degree in the field of marine science. While we only glimpsed a sea turtle we saw many local birds, some common and some more unusual, and encountered numerous Dolphin who played happily in the boats wake for many minutes.

An experience to remember. Highly recommend. - Captain Josh is amazing. He is a naturalist and historian and made the experience more enjoyable by sharing is wealth of knowledge. And he's an expert at getting dolphins to 'play'. Highly recommend!

Great ride, absolutely worth it - Great boat ride! Informative and exciting. A little unnerving when you first arrive and don't know where to go but the the directions with the booking are spot on. Just follow them and trust you are in the right place. Captain Josh is wonderful. Takes the time to answer questions and will stop the boat to make sure you see everything you want to see. Even turns the boat around for you and really cares that you get the photos you want! I took so many photos my phone was at 6% at the end. We saw lots of birds including a bald eagle. We saw a sea turtle and lots of dolphins! There was a manatee but just for a second.... so don't have photos. But great shots of the dolphins thanks to the great captain!

The best boat trip we’ve ever done - a must when visiting - Fantastic boat trip with captain Josh, trip advisor messaged up the booking, but when contacting Josh directly he sorted the booking for us. This boat trip made our trip to the Everglades. We saw all sorts of birds, dolphins, sea turtle. Captain Josh is extremely knowledgeable about the area and the Everglades as a whole. We learnt so much. This tip is a must when visiting.

The highlight of our Florida tour - We were lucky enough on a Monday morning to have the boat and Captain Josh to ourselves. He introduced us to the unique nature in the Everglades. He asked us about our wishes and responded to them so that we could take spectacular photos of birds and dolphins.
We can only recommend the tour with Captain Josh. He can convey his good knowledge of this wonderful eco-system very well. Thank you very much!

Family of 4, great tour! - We had a lot of fun with Josh. He is very knowledgeable and welcoming. We learned a lot and saw incredible dolphins around our boat, jumping and playing.

Exceptional learning experience - Exceptional experience for adults and the 2 young children who went out on the tour. The Captain's knowledge is firmly grounded in facts and a passion for the science of the Everglades. All of our questions were answered thoughtfully. Our 3 hours with the Captain out amidst the 10 Thousand Islands in the Gulf was definitely the highlight of our week in Florida.

Family tour was a delight - Josh is a great guide, so many details about nature and the history of the area. He was so attentive to our small group. We saw many dolphins, they seem to know Josh is the best.
