Peaceful experience - We had a fantastic kayak tour with Matthew. He was was friendly, experienced and so knowledgeable about the area and native wildlife. I was new to kayaking and he put me at ease and made the whole experience enjoyable. We saw quite a few alligators and birds plus a snake and small turtle . I would highly recommend this tour , kayaking through the mangroves was so peaceful, and it was like venturing into a whole new world xx

Fun Adventure on the Turner River. Kenzie was a great guide. We floated through the mangroves and saw a few gators. - Enjoyed kayaking on the Turner River. The mangroves were really cool and we saw alligators and birds and turtles. Kenzie was very knowledgeable about the river and the history. Had a great time.

Fun tour, saw gators and birds - Kenzie was a great guide - we got lucky to get in before the season gets very busy and had the 8am-12pm river all to ourselves. Bring water, hat and sunscreen.

Great nature experience - We visited in late November before the busy holiday period and were lucky enough to be the only two people on our tour. Our guide Kenzie was very good at spotting all kinds of wild life. At this time of year the reptiles don’t come out until it warms up a bit so our mid morning slot was ideal for seeing alligators. The water was extremely clear so we could see turtles popping up for air and then watch them dive down below the kayak. I was impressed by Kenzie’s bird identification skills as it can be quite a specialist subject! We saw a brief flash of a king fisher, ospreys nesting, a green heron, blue heron, white ibis and more. Kenzie was able to teach us a lot about the landscape and how it has changed and is changing. We have done a lot of walking in the National Parks but it felt valuable to see the swamps from the water and I am really glad that we took this trip.

Great Kayak Trip on The Turner River - Fabulous kayak trip with Everglades Guided Kayak Tours. We had Matt as a guide and he was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the Everglades. He was also great at helping us navigate through the mangrove tunnels. This trip was amazingly beautiful. If you are visiting Everglade City area and enjoy unique experiences in nature, I highly recommend doing a tour with this company.

More than recommended - Very great experience in the untouched nature. We were a small group of 8 people and could enjoy nature. It takes a little getting used to approaching the alligators to within a meter. Great guide with lots of info, we really enjoyed it. Certainly more intense than an airboat ride.

Paddling with the aligators - Matt our guide was very knowlegdeable about the area and was great at pointing out different plants as we paddled on the Turner river in Big Cypress. We saw several aligators on our journey some on the shore and some swimming in the river with us. We never felt in jeapordy as Matt was great a making sure we kept a safe distance. Our only complaint is that it was long enough. We love to be on the water exploring new places.

Great tour! - My husband and at went on this trip for our honeymoon and 100% did not regret! Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to talk with. He wasn't overbearing as we paddled through the tunnels but was also very easy to approach if you needed help. The paddling was easy. However, it was advertised that they had snacks and water but we weren't offered anything so bring your own just in case! Bug spray is VERY important or wear long sleeves and pants...plus the bug spray. Lots of spiders, but they leave you alone. Just be aware if you have a phobia.

Five stars, maybe six - Fantastic experience! Our guide, Ryan, was really great, full of interesting information and brilliant at helping novices like us learn to kayak quickly. Saw lots of interesting critters, including plenty of alligators of course, but top of the list was an Osprey diving from high into the water after a fish only about 50 yards away - awesome! This was my favourite experience in several weeks in Florida, highly recommended
