Chena Dogsledding (1.5 hour) and Private Reindeer Walk - We had researched dogsledding prior to our Alaskan visit and the Chena Outdoor Collective seemed to have the most extensive tour. It did not disappoint. Our guides Ryne and Jeff were super informative, kind and hospitable. We got to meet the dogs, harness them and then go for a ride of a lifetime. Unlike other places, our ride was 45 min long! Stopped for cool pictures as well. The dogs were so friendly and ready to work and play. You can tell they are well loved and cared for by their respective kennel teams. Virginia was our guide for the private reindeer walk. First, we learned a lot about reindeer and then had fun feeding them and walking these beautiful animals in the forest. Everyone we encountered at the Collective were fantastic and the cafe next door was a great place to eat and warm up after. Highly recommend!

Amazing fun! - This was one of the very best parts of our visit to Fairbanks. Our guide is SO knowledgeable about her dogs. And she taught us a lot about how the dogs train, how their personalities make a team work, and even how to get them into their harnesses. The ride itself was do much fun! Just a really great experience.
