Perfect - Our guide Kevin was prompt, informative and even threw in a few dad jokes. He found us the best viewing places and we took so many photos. He took great quality photos of each of us who were on the tour and made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Great tour, amazing tour guide! - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!
I had booked a tour to Chena Spring weeks ahead with one tour company which cancelled on me the day before due to the fact that the minimum on the trip had not been met. The guide offered me a discount if I could change the date, but I had other tours planned and couldn’t accommodate. So I quickly booked another tour but got cancelled the following morning, because once again, I was the solo person who signed up.
The third company was Tony’s, and he was willing to take me that very day even though at the time of the booking I was the only one who signed up. (Thankfully another person booked at the last minute!)
Tony strongly believes that once you offer to do a tour, it is only right to accommodate the tourists regardless of the size of the group. I was very impressed!
Not only is Tony uniquely honorable, he is very knowledgeable about a lot of things and we had a great time getting to know each other. He is a veteran tour guide, and the people at Chena all seem to know him well.
Everything went well according to the itinerary. The drive there was very smooth, got to see some beautiful views. Tony entertained us with his interesting stories during the drive, and I felt like we got there in no time. The ice museum was okay, but the Hot Spring was extremely soothing, an experience you won’t forget! The Northern Lights were visible from their Activity Center but not that exciting. So Tony took us to a couple of other quiet places for better viewing. Overall it wasn’t a good showing that night, but I appreciated his effort. He drove us back to our hotels safe and happy.
It was a very well planned tour. Everything was timed well, and his thoughtfulness about getting the car warmed before each drive and offering water bottles for hydration after the soak in Hot Spring did not go unnoticed.
I would highly recommend this tour and any of his tours!

We had an amazing night! ... - We had an amazing night! Kevin was an excellent guide- very personable, knowledgeable and an excellent driver/photographer! The hot springs were very relaxing. The temperature of the water is somewhat adjustable as the water is hotter in some areas than another. We were worried about freezing on the walk from the dressing rooms to the hot springs. Although it was only 10F, the distance is short so not too terrible. Wearing water socks helped! After the hot springs, we found 2 different places to enjoy the aurora. The forecast was not encouraging but the lights were great! Kevin took pictures of everyone in the group and shared them with us! All in all, I highly recommend this experience and hope on our next trip to Alaska to try another adventure with Northern Lights and Kevin!

Headed to Alaska to see the Northern Lights - Kevin was great. Very knowledgeable on Alaska, Aurora and dog mushing. We loved the ice sculptures and hot springs. Quirky but very cool and unique.
Unfortunately we did not see any Northern lights due to cloud cover.

Tony....Best tourist guide I ever met. - I did a lot of travelling to different countries for the past years but Tony is the BEST tourist guide I ever met. He is punctual ,amazing ,very knowledgeable ,with good sense of humor, professional and we never run out of topics to talk about during our long drive to Chena Hot Spring. My 2 friends backed out in going into the hot spring pool so I accepted the fact already that I will have no pictures while I am in the pool. To my surprise, Tony was there already and took pictures of me...and he took pictures of us too in Iced Museum. We did not see the Northern Ligths that nigth because it was cloudy but it was compensated by Tony's attention to us.Thanks a lot Tony. Because of you, we had a great time and unforgettable vacation.

Chena adventure - Tony really extends himself to be friendly and welcoming. On time pickup at hotel and even called to say he was on his way. He thoughtfully provided water in the van. After dinner and the hot springs he drove us to the perfect location for northern lights viewing and made sure to take many photos for us since we forgot our phone. Be sure to bring swimsuit, shower shoes and a hat to wear in the hot springs. Bring quarters for the changing rooms. The spring charges $5 for towels. Overall a true Fairbanks experience enhanced by Tony’s warm personality.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Very Professional and Knowledgeable - We had a BLAST with Tony! We came up from socal for the northern lights and Chena hot springs…we did NOT want to drive ourselves and thankfully with didn’t. Tony picked us up right on time, explained a lot of the history of Chena/Fairbanks on the drive up to Chena, and made us feel like the trip was truly ours/personalized.
Once in Chena, we did the ice museum, got the apple martini (highly recommend), took a dip in the hot springs (Tony went above and beyond and took photos for us), grabbed dinner at the restaurant (the burger was bomb), and right as dinner finished the restaurant staff let us know the norther lights were out. So we paid the check and went outside for some epic photos.
From there, we hopped back in the car to chase it back toward fairbanks making 3-5 stops along the way to get some even better shots. It helped that Tony was super knowledgeable on the area, the forecasts, had all the apps, etc. He also took great photos for us on his phone and sent them immediately after dropping us off. One of the nicest/chill tour operators I’ve ever had!
Thank you, Tony!

Unforgettable Chena Hot Springs Tour with Tony - Our tour to Chena Hot Springs with Tony was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, Tony was friendly, personable, and professional. He picked us up from our hotel right on time and made us feel welcome right away.
The experience began with a visit to the incredible ice museum, where we sipped Appletinis from ice “glasses” and took part in the fun tradition of whispering a wish before smashing them outside. Afterward, we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, though it wasn’t a highlight of the trip.
Next, we soaked in the rejuvenating hot springs, a truly relaxing experience. Tony was incredibly thoughtful, making sure we had bottled water to stay hydrated afterward. But the most magical moment of the evening was still to come—Tony drove us to a remote location where we were treated to a breathtaking display of the aurora. The northern lights danced across the sky, leaving us in absolute awe.
Tony’s warmth and hospitality made this tour even more special. By the end of the night, we felt like we had made a new friend. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience at Chena Hot Springs, we highly recommend taking this tour with Tony!
