• The Boatel - Our journey begins at The Boatel. Relax on the deck with a pint in hand, taking in the views of the river and Fairbanks!
• Chena River State Recreation Area - Our adventure will take place on the Chena River, which winds its way through the heart of Fairbanks.
• Pioneer Park - Pioneer Park is a 44-acre historical site established in 1967 to commemorate the centennial of Alaska’s purchase from the Russian Empire. We highly recommend coming back on foot to explore more than what we’ll see from the river!
• The Pump House Restaurant Fairbanks - The Pump House is a charming and historic spot in Fairbanks. With excellent food, drinks, and stunning views from their riverfront deck, it’s a destination in itself. Dinner requires a reservation, so let us know in advance if you’d like one, and we’ll gladly arrange it!

Our adventure begins at Pioneer Park, where we’ll paddle into the Chena River to soak up some sun, enjoy the scenery, and chat a bit about Fairbanks, Alaska! We’ll float through forests, the town, and a few riverfront homes as we make our way downstream. Our first stop will be at the Riverfront Boatel Bar to relax and grab a drink if desired. We’ll then get back on the river and float through the west side of town. Here, the Chena opens up with plenty of fingers and “islands” to explore. We’ll also float past the iconic steam-powered Riverboat Discovery! We’ll end our trip at The Historic Pump House Bar and Grill, where we can grab a drink and have dinner on their riverfront deck overlooking the Chena River!
