Your adventure starts at our sled dog kennel where you meet your team of friendly Alaskan Huskies. Tour the kennel, and hear about a life lived with sled dogs. Your guides have decades of experience, and will show you the basics of mushing. Then you will help hook up your team before heading out on the trails to experience the joy and beauty of traveling by dog team. This adventured gives guest the opportunity to experience distance mushing in a beautiful wilderness area.
Your camp is set up with comfortable tents, cots, and sleeping bags. Meals are prepared at camp, in addition there are healthy snacks and hot drinks. At camp you might enjoy exploring on snowshoes, photography, playing with the dogs, or just relaxing by the campfire. Our remote location away from light pollution is ideal for aurora viewing.
The next morning after coffee and a hot breakfast you will be mushing your teams home. Enjoy some time for photography with your team, and help us feed them snacks before returning to Fairbanks.

We offer private mushing adventures, which means the trip is specifically tailored to your group. Guests are invited to participate in all aspects of dog care, but that is optional. We offer private mushing adventures, which means the trip is specifically tailored to your group. Guests are invited to participate in all aspects of dog care, but that is optional. Your guides are always there to ensure the dogs are getting excellent care. Your guides are experienced mushers, Dan & Jodi have both completed the 1000 mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race, and they share their years of experience and stories from the trail with guests. Our private campsite with heated tents, firepit, outside seating, and Aurora viewing platform provide guests with an uninterrupted outdoors experience. In addition we are one of a very limited number of companies with a special recreation permit to operate in the White Mountains National Recreation Area.
- Minors must be accompanied by adult guardian, not suitable for small children
