True ATV ride - This was a true ATV ride. When you hear about ATV rides, many times, you are just driving on dirt or gravel roads through some streams and puddles. This was an ATV ride that required the CanAm type if ATV to get us through some of the terrain. We had steep hills, extreme ruts, water so deep it came above the floor boards of the ATV. Paul took us a good distance out to the middle of nowhere. Great views. It was about a 4 hour drive out and back. All of the waterproof pants and jackets were provided. Vehicles were clean and performed well. Stopped to listen to pure silence! Would recommend this trip. Well worth the cost.

A blast! - It was wet, muddy, foggy & fun! Eli did a great job! They provided rain gear & gloves which was great. No long range views on this day - but still way too fun!

Best UTV - My husband and I have done plenty of UTV rides in all different terrains and tour types and this is the best ride we’ve ever done! Most people do UTVs to go fast but the guides work really hard to give you the experience of truly working the machines and exploring the true wilderness of the Alaska back country. Riding through waist deep water and going through roughs and bumps that truly require some finesse and a ton of fun for driver and even passenger. Lots of great stops to view the Alaska mountain range and on a great day, a rare sighting of Mt.McKinley.

Loved it! - My husband and I had an incredible time. There were crazy areas with so much water and the side by sides really did so well! I was shocked. As someone that has not spent time on a side by side before/ off roading and is generally very tense/ nervous, I really appreciated that our guide said " we aren't going anywhere these machines are designed to go through. It made me feel safe. At the end I even drove! Our guide also did an excellent job having us stop at great locations for photos and views. The facility was also very clean and they provided rain gear if you want it. Would do it again! so glad we road with Midnight Sun ATV tours.

What a blast! - Loved this tour! So much fun! Worth the cost! Paul was a great guide who was very friendly and safety was definitely a priority for him. It was a little scary at first going from the road onto the forest trail but handling the ATV on the rough terrain ended up being pretty easy. It had rained beforehand but water on the trail just added to the fun element. We stopped for breaks and picture opportunities and had hot chocolate and chips at the end which was a nice touch. My 12 year old daughter was a little nervous but ended up loving the tour. Highly recommend!

You will not regret it! - Can't believe anyone could rate the tour and equipment anything but EXCELLENT.
Every terrane you want to see, you will. The side-by-sides are less than a year old. Fast and roughed. I guides know their stuff and will do everything to keep up upright and safe while letting you ride to your capabilities.. Like they say "just do it"

More than expected. - Small group, great guide who allowed us to go at our own pace. Awesome views. Modern equipment that was well maintained and well suited to traverse the trails that we travelled.

Wilderness fun - We had a blast seeing the wilderness from these machines. If it hasn’t been for the wildfire smoke, we would have seen amazing, vast views of Alaska.

CHALLENGING AT BEST - This was quite an experience. We expected to be driving on trails through the forest with some rough going, not 5 miles of a road so dusty you couldn't see the machine in front of you and then the rest of the trip was on a trail that had pretty much washed out. Very rough the whole time. My passenger had to hang onto a bar coming out of the dash for almost the whole trip to save herself from so much shock of the vehicle banging up and down. If you have any kind of back issues don't do this trip. It was soooooo dry in the Fairbanks area that in my opinion these tours should have been cancelled due to the dust. Without neck gaiters we would have been breathing pure dust 3/4 of the trip. There was not much view when we got to our destination stop due to the smoke from forest fires. The 2nd half of the trip was backtracking on the same trail and road.
Our guide was great and did the best job possible considering the conditions. He was also the shuttle driver that picked up and dropped off the clients. We drove there from Chena Hot Springs so we weren't on the shuttle but left him a substantial tip at the garage and hope that he got it. I would not recommend this activity at this location.
