- The hike is not long, but the nature walk has uneven terrain so good season appropriate walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing are required
- In the spring and summer the mosquitoes could be bad, bring your repellent of choice
- Our reindeer are tame but not trained so sometimes they decide to take a route not planned for
- Bring your cameras and expect the unexpected

It was our second time here (first time was 5 years ago) and still just as amazing. The staff is so passionate and friendly and I always appreciate supporting a family owned business. Where else can you take a walk with reindeer in a beautiful, wooded area, whole they roam around you? Definitely a must do if you find yourself in Fairbanks.

If you go to Fairbanks - a visit to Running Reindeer Ranch is a "Must Do". We had a wonderful experience! The team that cared for us were kind and considerate and those Reindeer were the best. We feel honored to have been able to spend time with these lovely animals and we thank Running Reindeer Ranch for all of their kindness.
