Meidum Pyramid - is an archaeological site in Upper Egypt. It contains a large pyramid and several mudbrick mastabas In its ruined state, the structure is 213 feet (65 meters) high, and its entrance is aligned north-south, with the entrance in the north, 66 feet (20 meters) above present ground level. The steep descending passage 57 feet (17 meters) long leads to a horizontal passage, just below the original ground level, that then leads to a vertical shaft 10 feet (3.0 meters) high that leads to the corbelled burial chamber itself. The chamber is unlikely to have been used for any burial.

In this exclusive one-day excursion, we will venture into the seldom explored and mysterious locales of Ancient Egypt. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before commencing our journey at 8:00 am. Our private, air-conditioned minibus and knowledgeable Egyptologist will guide us first to the Maidum archaeological dig in Lower Egypt, followed by an exploration of the Hawara Pyramid and its accompanying funeral temple. Next, we’ll make our way to El Lahun. Once we’ve fully experienced these historical sites, we will return you to the original pickup point.
