Enjoyed OurTrip to Valley of the Whales, Glad We Did It. - We were fortunate and ours was a private tour. Luxury Tours of Egypt did a fantastic job communicating with me using What's App. They moved our start time to 7:30 AM so we could beat the heat, and provided explicit pick up directions. Mo Tolba, our tour leader, picked us up at our hotel, Marriott Mena House, which has an amazing location if you'd like breakfast with a view of the pyramids! From the hotel we then drove to to a Bedouin location where we had a walk around, a cup of tea, and switched to a 4x4 driven by "H" - he really made the desert drive to Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales) a breathtaking experience. We felt as if we were "one with the desert." Incredible. The Valley of the Whales was the reason we came and it didn't disappoint. The museum has a short video, the whale bones on display as well as fossils of other species including crocodiles, and even a mastodon. The walk outside to various other fossils is excellent too. We did not sandboard, by choice, and we did not swim in the Magic Lake, again by choice. The Waterfalls were OK, but there we many swimmers in the water. Mo was really kind helping me get some Arabic phrases down and he played great Arabic music the whole time. We really enjoyed our day.

Thank you Islam - We went there today with Islam Guide and Mo Tolba (Mohamed) driver. They were in our care all day to make sure everything went perfectly. We really enjoyed the place that was explained to us very well by Islam! We highly recommend! Long live Dalida (private joke Islam and Mo tolba)!

Best day in Egypt so far. - One of my best days in Egypt so far. This tour is amazing and includes all you have to see and do in Fayoum; Wadi El Hitan, Qarun Lake, an amazing safari ride in the desert, sand boarding, water falls, and a delicious meal. Aya and Islam were my awesome tour guides and I was lucky I got to get this experience with such friendly and amazing people. Thank you so much for this day! I definitely recommend this tour and it’s absolutely worth it!

Dinosaurs in in Desert - We enjoyed the Open Air Museum .. in the Valley of the Whales and gazing down on the beautiful coloured Magic Lake, but we equally enjoyed our time in the company of our Bedouin hosts.

Fayoum trip is amazing - My trip to Fayoum was a great experience. The desert, magic mountain and lake, fantastic. Our driver and guide were very professional and helpful. We were given wonderful food, well cooked and presented. We ended the day with much laughter and banter with our guide/organiser, and the owner of the bedouin camp. All in all a great trip.

A Perfect Escape to Fayum Oasis with an Exceptional Guide - We had an exceptional tour to the Fayum Oasis near Cairo, thanks to our amazing guide, Adri. Our group consisted of three women and two young children, and Adri was incredibly attentive throughout the trip. He ensured our safety and made sure we had fun at every point of interest. His perfect Spanish and fresh perspective added so much to the experience. For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Cairo and do something different, this destination is a perfect choice. It offers both nature and entertainment, making it a fantastic option for a unique adventure.

Amazing experience - What a pleasant tour. The valley of whales is so amazing. Though we didn't find the large whale fossil in the openair area. The view of oasis and magic lake are also magnificent. Lunch is delicious and large portion.

Amazing experience - Thanks to Sarah for her sympathy and her beautiful smile! We had a great time in the Fayoum desert, the scenery is spectacular as is the remains of prehistoric whales. Sarah made our experience fun! (she is also an excellent photographer ☺️) Another big thank you to our driver Mohammed (Tony 😊) for traveling hours between Cairo and Wadi Al-Hitan. See you soon Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️ Florine & Elliott

I cannot rate this trip highly enough - it is bettter than excellent. Book it and prepared to be wowed! - I was picked up by Amr and from thereon the day was fabulous. The Valley of the Whales was awesome and I was totally blown away as was the Waterfall. I could have stayed at Valley of the Whales all day, but Amr gently reminded me I had other things to do lol. Amr is very knowledgeable and great fun too. He made sure my every need was tended to and the pace was set by me. I was totally comfortable throughout. The lunch was a very good standard, delicious and so much of it. I cannot recommend this trip and Amr enough - the value for money is off the scale. It was also nice to get away from the bustle of Cairo and move wiith the sedate pace coupled with loads of fresh air. Miss this at your peril. Thank you Amr, every day has been a great day in Egypt. This was my penultimate day in Egypt and it doesn't get much better than this. I feel very spoiled.

Awesome tour and experience - Tolva (aka Tony) was our tour guide. He was awesome, fun, knowledgeable, and kept the haggling locals at bay for us. The camp site that we visited had a wonderful lunch prepared for us. You really do get your money's worth on this all day tour. Our driver who took us around the desert was also fun, and kept us safe. Definitely would recommend this tour for small groups 👍
