Great guides and hike in El Yunque - Anthony and “Chookie” were excellent. They explained how to navigate the slippery and treacherous trails, and sometimes aided people through difficult parts by giving a helping hand. They also gave us interesting information about the El Yunque forest and the flora and fauna.

It’s shorter than... - It’s shorter than expected and the hiking isn’t super difficult but parts are slippery and your feet get completely submerged in water at points . I wore old sneakers that probably will need a few days to dry out but I was fine or I would recommend water shoes with grippy soles. Bring a change of clothes for after. The tour guides were so friendly and funny it made for a great time!

Live a little and don’t be afraid to get muddy! - We did the 8:30am hike. Very cool hike through some narrow clay mud trenches on the way to the water spot (Not the whole way there, but on the way, including the muddy and hilly terrain). I would have liked to have learned more about the surrounding nature and biodiversity and I also would have liked more time to jump in and splash around in the water. We only got one shot to do the waterslide, two shots for the cliff jumping, and one shot for the rope jump. All in all, I would do it again and I mainly would want more time for everything, but there were other groups there so I understand why we’d need to give other groups time to go as well. For reference, our tour ended about 45 minutes earlier than what was advertised.

Amazing unforgettable experience - This was an unforgettable experience! Bryon was an excellent host who cared about our safety- letting us know where to step on the rocks when climbing, etc. He also gave us history of the island during some stopping points of the hike. The highlight was getting to the natural waterslide and jumping into the refreshing pool of water. Bryon also went above and beyond by making sure we had videos/pictures for us to look back on the trip! Hands down would do again and recommend to friends and family. We were kept smiling! It was a muddy experience so don’t be afraid to get dirty since you’ll be able to wash off! Anything that is light will probably get stained by the clay so wear dark clothing. Thanks for having us!

Yunque tour - We enjoy it our Yunque tour was amazing very slippery because of the rain but we all made it safe. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and show us different plants that we don’t even know they are used to cook or for medicine. We enjoy it and definitely will do it again.

A must-do and repeat experience. - Great experience. Our guide, Mario was a great guide. On the hike there, he told us about the rainforest and showed us a couple of unique plants. The hike itself is moderate because some spots you might have to use your upper muscles. Once you get to the water part, there is where you will have fun. The natural slide was a unique experience. I did the rope swinging jump twice before it was fun. Mario took pictures and videos that he shared with us at the end. A must try experience. Tip: wear shoes that you don’t care to get muddy and wet. But should have good traction for hiking. Pack light so you don’t have to leave your stuff on the rocks when going in the water. Eat well before the trip. Finally. have fun!

Disappointment - We did not get a chance to complete the trip because we did not have a rental car. This was not made abundantly clear.
