Drawn by the allure of glowing waters, I embarked on a night kayaking adventure in Puerto Rico’s Laguna Grande. The promise of bioluminescence and a starlit sky was too tempting to resist.

The guides, Donatello and Indio, were warm and welcoming, offering instructions in both English and Spanish. As we paddled through the mangrove forest, the anticipation of what lay ahead was palpable. The night was clear, the moon full, casting a silvery glow over the water. It was a perfect setting for a night of exploration.
