• Yorke Bay - Reaching the Gentoo penguins requires a brief stroll through sand dunes, but the effort is rewarded with stunning sea views and the opportunity to observe the penguins in their natural habitat. Occasionally, King Penguins may also be seen in the vicinity. Commerson and Peales dolphins are frequently observed playing in the surf, joyfully sharing the waters with the penguins as they enter and exit the sea. A guide will accompany visitors through the dunes, offering insights about the area.

• Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck - Located at the eastern end of Stanley Harbour, this is Stanley’s most prominent and iconic shipwreck. Known as Lady Liz, the ship was launched in Sunderland, UK, in 1879 and sustained damage while rounding Cape Horn in 1913. It reached Stanley for repairs, but the high costs prevented any work from being done. After several moorings in Stanley Harbour, a fierce gale in 1936 pushed the Lady Liz to her current resting place. This spot is popular for photography, with Stanley and the mountains to the west as a backdrop.

• Stanley - FIGAS (Falkland Islands Government Air Service) has been operating Islander aircraft since October 1979 and is the southernmost operator of this type. The current fleet of five Islanders is crucial for connecting remote communities to Stanley. Besides air taxi services, the carrier also provides air ambulance, mail delivery, freight, environmental monitoring, fishery patrol, and scenic flights.

• Government House Drive - Located towards the western end of Stanley on Ross Road, Government House serves as both the residence and workplace of the Governor, who represents King Charles in the Falklands.

• Whalebone Arch - Built in 1933 from the jawbones of two blue whales, it marks a century of continuous British administration in the Falklands. Situated outside Christchurch Cathedral, near the supermarket, gift shop, and tender landing stage, it offers excellent photo opportunities and is recommended as a drop-off point for cruise ship visitors.
