stunning and magical - From the moment we boarded the boat, we were filled with excitement. The staff were friendly and informative, sharing interesting details about the lagoon and the unique phenomenon we were about to witness. As the sun set, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. Once we reached the lagoon, it was like stepping into a different world. The water was illuminated by bioluminescent microorganisms, creating a stunning and magical effect

The GLOW!!!! - This natural phenomena has been on my bucket list for YEARS. Captain Dave was an amazing host and captain of the boat we took out. He did everything in his power to ensure everyone was safe and followed directions. Once we reached our spot in the lagoon he let anyone into the water that wanted to swim to see the glow. He made sure we all understood the logistics (i.e. don't kick up the mud, stay close to the boat, etc) and when we were finished swimming, he even went the extra mile by kicking the boat motor into high speed and showing us WAVES of bioluminescence as he steered the boat side to side. Hands down one of my favorite experiences to date, my wife and I thank you dearly Captain Dave!!!

A good time - Had such a good time with great hosts! We were able to swim in the lagoon and the water felt great. Definitely recommend (during a new moon) if you come to Jamaica.

Luminescent trip - Our guide was great and kept us entertained the experience was good and unusual the only reason we rated this a 3 was because all the pictures you see of this the luminosity is bright blue but when we went there was some luminosity but it was a very dull yellow and could not be picked up on a camera but it was still a good experience as we had not seen anything like this before

No illumination - The tour was lame. The lagoon did not illuminate. Supposedly because it had rained the night before which affected the microorganisms. However the boat ride on the lagoon was nice.

Jellyfish, unsafe - This experience is unique and could be memorable under the right circumstances. For me and my children it was not. First off, the tour guides need to inform persons that there are jellyfishes in the lagoon. We were not told this beforehand. Both my children and myself asked ‘what creatures were in the lagoon’ before entering the water, and after, and we were told ‘fishes and shrimp’. This was not true. There are jelly fishes in the lagoon. Both my kids were stung. The worst part of it all was being ABANDONED by the ‘lifeguard’. He was stung first but said nothing, just proceeded to get into the boat leaving me and my kids in the water without even alerting us. I saw his pained reaction and knew something was wrong. I proceeded to get my kids and lead them to the ladder. By this time both of them were being stung and were crying out. I struggled to get them both onto the ladder with no help from the crew. I had to shout to the crew to get them to pull the kids up fast. That was the end of our 15 minutes trip. I remained calm and respectful to the crew despite my anger, but quickly left once docked. I’m grateful that both my kids were fine by the end of the night but it was a traumatic experience for all of us.

No bright glow possible, overhyped - You won't see the glow as it is on pictures. They are edited or slow exposure. It barely glows if any. Basically, you go at night on a boat to a smelly cove and swim in mushy mud... it's funny that this is what you pay for. Just not a great attraction. Many boats go there, but you will be disappointed.

Warning! Con artists, there was no glow at all!! - There was no lumination in the water at all. It was dirty, you could see a film of diesel from the boats and we were circling in the boat for over an hour while the con artists tried to stir up the mud from the bottom of the water to make it cloudier to fake the lumination. When I questioned that there was nothing to see the photographer (on a boat remember) said he could see it and showed me photos from a different day. When I said you get in the water to show me, apparently he couldnt swim. Then he admitted that it wasnt working at all but they blamed the full moon, then they said you can only see it strongly in June and July. Bunch of liars and con artists.
