The ghost town - Both tragic and historically interesting to see this ghost town had a fantastic guide who himself was stationed there as a former soldier and had a lot to tell and photos from the Famagusta of the time.

An exciting tour to Northern Cyprus - A very well organized tour with experienced staff. All the necessary information concerning the pick up was received in advance and the schedule was correct. Our guide Evangelia guided us through the interesting sites as the ghost toen of Varosha, Famagusta, Salamis and the St. Barnabas monastery with high competence and sense of humor. Personally I liked the ghost town the most. Very eerie and strange site despite the tourists. By the way, one lady lost her purse with the ID card during the trip, she had forgotten it at the toilet in Salamis. ID card or passport is mandatory when crossing the border. All staff did their best to solve the problem with major effort. Luckily the purse was found later with help from several people. So we had a happy end for our tour. Recommend this tour definitely for history lovers.

Interesting and fun excursion - Contact with the organization via the link in the reservation was appropriate and fast. The bus arrived on time at the agreed pick-up point. We were surprised that there was a guide with us. She really added value to the trip. She informed about the progress of the program. She provided interesting information. And she always indicated when the bus was leaving again. You could choose whether you walked with her or not. She, the driver and the extra guide in Northern Cyprus were friendly and very helpful.

A day full of history and unbelievable sites - Fantastic tour, arranged via Tui. Well worth the money as packed with interesting places, full of history. Our guide was Julia, she was very knowledgeable and new so much about the history and the area. Our tour with Tui included lunch at a little seafront restaurant just on the edge of the Ghost Town. You wouldn't think one small area could have so many stories and so much history.

Trip worth going on - Enjoyed the day as the guide was very informative. Would have liked more time in famagusta old town The ghost town felt unbelievably emotional as the guide recounted his personal experience of the time A well organised trip . Good value for the cost.

Great tour with two even better guides (George Michael + Fano) - We had an eventful trip to the northern part of Cyprus with George Michael ("it's really true") and Farno. Start in Ayia Napa, via Famagusta to the ghost town. Oppressive but also very impressive impressions of this divided island. And two tour guides who let us experience history vividly with lots of stories about this and the other places we visited. Many thanks to you George Michael and Farno. It was really unbelievable and amazing time you have spent with us. Anette & Volker

A great tour for understanding the island's history - The tour was very well organised and the tour guide Evangelia was so knowledgeable. Famagusta and Salamis are key areas of Cyprus for understanding the island's ancient and recent history and so we left with a lot of vivid impressions and some big questions to ponder. Very enjoyable and well worth doing!

Educational and Picturesque - Worth every nickle. I was amazed to see the Abandoned Area. The Turks captured the most successful area of Cyprus. But first they bombed the heaven out of it. Now it is a worthless piece of real estate shut off from everyone. It looks like something out of a B-budget movie. The BBC says the Turkish soldiers have orders to shoot on sight anyone who dares go into the area. The UN man a buffer zone between the occupied territory and the rest of Cyprus.
