Stress free, easy way to see the history of northern Oman - Ghusun was my tour guide. Very professional and knowledgeable about the places we went and the county’s history. I felt I left seeing Muscat and environs (the nearby towns) as though no stone was left unturned for a first time visit. I definitely recommend if you want to see this part of Oman in a nutshell with no stress.

Book this Tour! Ask for Ayham - What an Amazing tour and great guide in Ayham! This tour got me outside the city to see the mountains and explore the market, forts and Oasis. Ayham made the day fun by sharing knowledge of the stops and he found me the best Shawarma for lunch! Highly recommended this professional tour and guide

Highly recommended! Suitable for solo travelers - Excellent tour would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and made the whole experience more enjoyable. This tour is good for solo travellers until other tours on Get your Guide that require a minimum of 2 people to book

A terrific full day tour from Muscat to Nizwa - We had an absolutely fantastic full-day tour from Muscat to Nizwa with Mohammed as our guide. The vehicle was extremely comfortable, with the air conditioning set to the perfect temperature, which made the long drive very pleasant.
Mohammed was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. He shared fascinating insights, which truly enriched our experience. His passion for the region's heritage was evident and made the journey all the more engaging.
From start to finish, everything about the tour was seamless and enjoyable. If you're looking for a guide who combines professionalism, comfort, and a wealth of knowledge, Mohammed is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

UNFORGETTABLE - Perfect from start to finish! - This tour was the highlight of my trip to Oman! Everything was perfect from pickup to drop off. Mohammed Al Ghatrifi is a wonderful friendly guide who has a passion for his country’s history - he was extremely knowledgeable and shared amazing information about each place we visited. He gave me an overview of what to expect and also offered the option of replacing one of the stops to suite my preference (he suggested Manah to attend Museum across ages instead of Samail which was wonderful) .
Experiencing Oman with this tour felt a lot more authentic and natural than other tours I have attended which felt rigid/ detached.
You truly get a feel for the essence of the country with this tour and the scenery you will come across is unforgettable!!
Thank you Mohammed for this lovely experience, I will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful tour of Oman! - Mohammed was an amazing and kind guide who gave me the time to take as many pictures as I wanted. The tour was also very informative and he taught me a lot about the Omani people and its amazing culture. I’m grateful for Mohammed and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is solo travelling!

Great Experience and Tour guide - Mohammed was absolutely phenomenal! Very knowledgeable about the area of Nizwa, bakarat almawz and fanja , he shared fascinating stories, and made sure I felt engaged throughout the entire tour. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he really brought the history and culture to life for me. I would highly recommend Mohammed and Fanja Tours.
